24.01.2022 Lest We Forget. Art work done by the F-3 students. More on display at the local post office.

24.01.2022 A busy morning with the students today. Placing white ribbons on the fence at the park for white ribbon day and then off to the post office to post our Santa letters. Skeleton staff and students due to the hard border closures but we had a great day. Thanks Mrs Rainsford and Bernie for helping out!

21.01.2022 Another day cooking up a storm! We get that busy we forget to take progress photos. Main meal today was chicken and bok choy stir fry. We added lots of green vegetables to build up our vitamin and fibre intake. Sweets was mandarin weetbix slice, using our endless supply of our home grown mandarins. Also keep your eye out for the SRC’s Cookbook that we are putting together at the moment. We are compiling all the recipes we have made over the past few years. Will be a great gift for loved ones for Christmas.

17.01.2022 A special surprise visit from one of our good friends! Kids got to have a good look in the latest highway patrol car with all the new mod cons. Thanks Julie Bruce!

13.01.2022 Foundation - 1 making and decorating Gingerbread Men.

11.01.2022 Science today - learning about forces, pulling, pushing and gravity. How gorgeous are these kids!!!

09.01.2022 Celebrating Naidoc Week incorporating Art and local History. These will be on display at the Edenhope Hospital. Special thanks must go to Rosemary Nolan and the APS staff. We think it all looks amazing!

04.01.2022 SAKG - cooking. This week we decided to start using some of the things out of the freezer before the end of the year. Curried sausages in lettuce cups and basic cream muffins using the abundance of eggs we have.

02.01.2022 Cup Day fun at Apsley Primary School. Local bookie Gatlan McLean set the board, zoom in to have a look at his creativity! Fashion on the fields was won by Maggie M (the queen) and Greg! Congratulations to all for a great day.

02.01.2022 Agriculture plays a huge part in our curriculum and our student’s everyday lives. Today we celebrated National Agriculture Day. Given the current times we wanted to thank our farmers for all their hard work and for keeping the country going. I think the kids have hit the nail on the head with some of their messages.
