04.01.2022 These pictures are taken from the Watinuma and McCaulls Creek on the APY Lands SA. Here you will see Walter Tjami and Glen Ward working in the APY Pastoral program, fixing the damaged fences from the recent floods experienced across the lands. Using wire straighteners, plyers and iron droppers and new fencing wire, to support keeping feral animals out and keeping cattle in these paddocks.
04.01.2022 Indigenous Voice Consultations On 9 January 2021, the federal Minister for Indigenous Australians, Ken Wyatt, launched a national consultation process on proposals for an Indigenous Voice. Public consultation on the APY Lands will be at Pukatja on 23 March 2021 at the Council/Inma area, and at Amata on 25 March at the undercover basketball area. The consultations will begin at 10am....
