15.01.2022 Yes, too much sun exposure causes skin damage.but what about too little? Are there a range of health problems created by not enough sunshine? Here’s just one of many great articles on having a balanced approach.

13.01.2022 Have we gone too far? Is the sun just a skin cancer producing ball of danger in the sky.or a bountiful source of energy, enabling all life to exist on Earth? It has been gathering increasingly bad press in the media and the school system and we have responded by slathering ourselves in sunscreen at the thought of going outdoors and covering our kids with shade structures and no hat no play policies. We all do it thinking we’re being ‘sun safe’ but I’m just wondering.hav...e we gone too far? I’m saying ‘we’ as in ‘we humans’ but to be honest, I've never been a fan of sunscreen and have always felt sooo good in the warm rays of the sun. My feeling is that like most things in life, there’s a balance point or zone. Too much air and we’ll pass out, too much food & we’ll become obese, too much exercise & we’ll burn out. Too little of all of these & we get a whole other set of problems. Yet we still breathe, eat and move, finding our own balance zone for each and being in various states of health as a result. Yes, too much sun exposure causes skin damage.but what about too little? Are there a range of health problems created by not enough sunshine? Here’s just one of many great articles on having a balanced approach: http://www.huffingtonpost.com//vitamin-d-health-why-you_b_ It’s easy to think of the sun as being about the same size as the moon and travelling across our sky each day. Sometimes, when I’m feeling the warm rays on my face I am amazed to think that heat has travelled 150 million kms from a star that is utterly immense compared to the size of Earth. Rather than seeing it as a nuisance to be avoided I think we relatively tiny lifeforms perfectly positioned in space have much to appreciate about our life giving sun. By Shane M See more

09.01.2022 Is the sun purely responsible for all skin cancers??? Could it have anything to do with what we put in & on our bodies, including sunscreen?
