23.01.2022 Coolangatta extension moving along fast. Just a week ago there was only concrete piers. Roof to go on in next day or two, then some beautiful #stegbar cedar Louvered windows to be installed and custom milled cladding to match existing. Vj paneling to be installed internally with some custom cabinetry to come. This little house situated on the river near Shoalhaven Heads was originally built and owned by an architect. #craigjohnsondesign worked with clients to design and keep the extension of their master bedroom simple, practical and blend in with the old yet add a modern touch to keep it fresh. I always love using raw Australian timbers such as this beautiful southern beech solid hardwood flooring and custom milled cypress pine. We have so many beautiful native timbers and even though we have so many innovative new products on the market you can not beat Australian timbers. 15.01.2022 You have to love the rough textured finish of shot Crete to a concrete pool. So imperfectly perfect with rough finish yet sharp lines to form edges steps and ledges. Thanks to #pinesconcrete for the steel work, #miengineering for the structural details, #southcoastelectrical for the electrical work Paki Concrete pumping for the shotcrete.
