It is especially hard when you are isolating at home with young children and finding daily activities to keep them stimulated. Once the pandemic of COVID-19 has passed, our Parent and Baby Aquafit (PABA) classes are just what you will need! PABA is a 30-minute aqua-based workout program for parents and children, designed to ...improve parents fitness and to introduce babies and children to the water. Our classes are great for mind and body and to integrate again with other parents and children after such a long time isolating. Not only will the parent enjoy it, the child will too! Ideal for changing the mindset of parents that have isolated for a long time and proven to help alleviate symptoms of post-natal depression. One of the most commonly cited recommendations for parents experiencing PND is exercise. Having a child is such a life changing experience, some of us may not feel as confident as we once used to. Group exercise and social classes will not only get you moving, increasing the release of those endorphins but also gets you back out into the world. Lots of work is being done in the background to ensure the safe re-opening of pools and the ability to run our workshops within government guidelines, ensuring everyone feels safe and relaxed. PABA FIT is endorsed by EMDUK and with that, comes an open bursary to those who are also members. If you are a Teacher /Instructor Member of EMD UK and you join our PABA FIT workshop you will be able to receive up ...to 125 funding towards the workshop, or up to 175 towards a qualification (up to 50% of the workshop cost, whichever is least). If you are not a Teacher and Instructor Member of EMD UK fear not, you will still be able to receive up to 100 funding towards a workshop, or up to 150 funding towards a qualification (up to 50% of the course cost, whichever is least).
