23.01.2022 Tayla Relph.Round 2 of the Australian Superbike Championship has been and run, and quite successfully I may add! We started Friday and Saturday Morning very strong, with a consistent top 3 finish in all Practice sessions and Qualifying Sessions. Race 2 was the highlight by far with some close racing between Locky Taylor and myself. As he had a lot more top speed than I did, unfortunately I just couldn't pull the gap far enough resulting in him pipping me on the line. Overall ...we finished the weekend in 2nd place with a total of 46 points which in the overall championship standings has moved me from 5th to 2nd place which is an excellent feeling! I would like to say a massive Thank you to everyone who helped me get through this weekend; SpeedAngle Australia, Tahmoor Signs, Motorcycles R Us, A1 Race Paint, Fibrezone Composites, Arai Helmet, Unit Clothing, Mick's Fix Leather Repairs, SIN eyewear, Aqua Gun and Racing, and of course can not forget Harrison Cox Racing for his vital help all weekend, making sure I made it on track each session see you all at SMSP in 3 weeks time for Round 3 of ASBK! 17.01.2022 WOW.I would like to thank the Engine Room Cafe and the members of ddr who came down and had a coffee and got some earplugs made.i was happy to answer questions that people asked.Terry Jennings and myself thought that it was a good day and think that if I wish to do it again in a few months time that we should have great support again. 14.01.2022 Round 3 is over and what a mixed bag of results! Final race of the weekend and it started pouring down rain, safe to say I was jumping for joy. I got a cracking start and took the lead and made a pretty decent gap between myself and 2nd place. Unfortunately due to my finger it was difficult for me to change down gears as I wasn't able to use the clutch easily. Missed a gear and ran wide on the exit, touched the white line and down I went for the second time! Really crappy way... to end what was shaping up to be a fantastic weekend but sometimes you have to take the good with the bad. I'm confident I can be up the front and I know what I'm capable of achieving. Now to get my bum back in the gym and work, get this bike back together in tip top shape for Round 4 in Perth! 01.01.2022 Hi everyone, Its been a little while since I have posted something up as I have had to have a operation on my shoulder and been out of action for a little while but back to work now.If anyone is interested in some earplugs this weekend I'm going to be in Toowoomba at the Engine Room cafe on Saturday the 13th from 12 noon till close.so come on down and have a cuppa and a snack and maybe even some earplugs.
