Over time toners and glosses do fade more so because blond hair is porous. A great purple shampoo we always recommend is which keeps your blond icy. Sulfates are a big no-no when it comes to picking a shampoo. The most common of these are SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) and SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) that are used in a lot of shampoos to help you get that big lather you see in all those adsbut turns out, those big lathers are only doing you harm, no good. So, make sure you’re reading your labels closely whenever you pick out your shampoo. Avoid swimming in chlorine! Chlorine is a type of bleach so swimming in a chlorinated pool will fade toner/gloss and cause constant damage to the cuticle of the hair producing breakage. This gorgeous babe came in with foils that were a little stripey and grown out. She wanted the foils lifting with a lovely gloss toner finish.
