24.01.2022 Hi everyone Under phase two of the easing restrictions, ONLY non - contact sporting activities are permitted so unfortunately for now we remain closed. ... On the upside however , its getting closer to opening our doors again & we cant wait.. such an exciting time to come At this stage its looking like its going to be July when we will be allowed to open. We will let everyone know the minute we are given the go ahead. Who else is absolutely itching to get swimming again?? I know we are!!!

We are looking for our families to get into the Easter spirt and come up with some great photos. ... Our theme is Aqua bunny and friends at Easter. So lets get dressed up for Easter and start posting your creative pictures here on Facebook. All family members are encouraged to join in the fun. Competition runs until WEDNESDAY 15TH APRIL AT 5PM . Only ONE photo per family please. Prizes of swim bags, towels , goggles & Easter eggs up for grabs. All children (who are currently members with us) in each of the top 3 photos will win a prize. When you walk through the front door this week you will see quite a few EXCITING changes :-) Jump Swim Schools Ormeau is now independent of the Jump franchise and has rebranded as Aqua Kidz Ormeau!!!!... SAME OWNERS, SAME INCREDIBLE TEAM, SAME BOOKED CLASS TIMES AS BEFORE. Exciting times ahead :-)

21.01.2022 BEST NEWS !!! SO EXCITED Lessons will be back from Monday 13TH JULY !!! (same class times as before, unless you have changed the class time over the closure ) ... Showers & change rooms are now permitted to be used and more people are allowed in the centre. There will be some changes to the venue to be compliant with the COVID safe plan. All of these details will be sent to you in an email early next week On a scale of 1-10 who is as excited as we are? We are definitely a big 10!!!

18.01.2022 Starting from 3 months old we teach children the safety fall in. In every lesson they practise the sequence of fall in, turn around, get back to the wall, and climb out. It becomes instinctive, which is so important to overcome the panic that can prevent children from saving themselves. Being in strange surroundings, cold water (especially in winter), being fully clothed, and alone - can create a lot of panic for a child. ... In this story, Will fell in at a particularly steep wall section of the pool, and yet managed to pull himself out by the time dad had run across to help him.

We are SO thrilled to have made it into the finals!! ... 16.01.2022 For anyone who thinks teaching babies to swim is a waste! Water safety aspects are taught in all our classes each and every lesson. These skills need to become instinctive. Turning around and getting back to the wall to climb out is our focus. SHE IS ONLY 2 YEARS OLD !!... This little one can easily , without being scared or panicked can easily swim for more than a minute taking breathes on the way!! #swimlessonscansavelives Well done Alexis!!!

12.01.2022 This wonderful family pre-enrolled with us before we opened our doors just over a year ago, and after first meeting 5 months before that at Lions Ormeau Fair. All of the team at JUMP Swim Schools Ormeau are going to miss teaching Bella, Jaxon and Holly. Each of them have made an impression, especially little Holly, who joined at 16 months old and who as a 2 year old was swimming independently without mum in the water. Kylie, you have been an awesome customer, and whilst we feel great loss, we are excited for you all in your next big chapter.

She now gets to swim without mum in the class and boy does she love wearing her goggles So much so , that’s she’s happy to spend her time before her class playing and building puzzles with them on! ... 09.01.2022 Indy's parents started her in swim lessons with us when she was only 10 months old, and the benefits for her starting as a baby are clearly evident. Indy progressed through our advanced swimmers stream, and at just over 2 years old was able to do the "fall in and return to safety", without goggles. Keep up the good work Indy - you will be swimming laps of the pool very soon.

We will keep everyone posted with any updates as soon as they come to light & will let everyone know as soon as we are given the go ahead to start back. ...
