03.01.2022 There are few things that Ruqaiya Parak (11) enjoys more than swimming with the Turtles in the outdoor 50m pool at Logan North. For the past three years Ruqaiya has visited the centre taking lessons and improving her swimming. She is now a competent freestyler in the Turtle team learning turns, starts, finishes, endurance and more. I enjoy swimming outside and having my own kit. Swimming is my favourite sport, says Ruqaiya. Ruqaiya says there are many things she enjoys ab...out going to the pool. Swimming is an essential skill and wonderful form of exercise. Theres also the social side of swimming and time spent with family at the pool. And then theres the amazing and friendly teachers. Ruqaiyas mother, Usmah Parak, says the family is very happy with the Aqualogan Laurie Lawrence Swim School. We are very happy with Aqualogan. The lessons are well planned, and the teachers are very enthusiastic, encouraging and friendly. Barb is very accommodating and tries to ensure that I get lessons for all my children at the same time.
