21.01.2022 In plumbing you meet alot of plumbers, some average guys and also some bloody genuine legends. One of those legends is @jinavoplumbing ! When I was struggling to get a drain cleaner with a flu shot and flu shot certificate in for a jetter job, he reached out and offered to lend me a @rigid flex shaft to get the job done. We have had one on order for a few weeks, but Rigid don't have stock in Australia. Great to be able to keep our client happy and also renews the faith in th...e greater plumbing community. 21.01.2022 Always a good vibe when you resolve a issue for a client. We got called in to resolve an issue with a leaking water well. The leak from the well is causing structural damage to historic home, making one of the balcony supports drop. The majority of the stormwater system feeds the well as this was the original water source for the home. We supplied and installed a submersible pump and ran a 40mm pressure line into the stormwater connected to the main at the front of the proper...ty. This allowed the well to drop to a level below the structural cracks and thus not allowing water to seep out of the tank. 20.01.2022 Got my new @rothenbergeraus pipe roughing wrench to enable quicker thread burring when we are install threaded fittings. One of my old bosses,Aldo from @almicplumbing was always drumming it in the importance of burring threads. He was a weapon of an apprentice and won apprentice of the year that year at RMIT. This translated when he turned into a boss and he is still producing great plumbing till this day. We have a duty as bosses to be able to instill as much of our knowledg...e into our workers as is possible. It is also very rewarding to see when our employees take the knowledge and apply it to the job. There are 95 percent of them installed incorrectly that we come across. 18.01.2022 Thankful for the power of Insta! We are always admiring companies that can bring value to the work we do. One of those companies is @1300findleak . They answered our call to locate a tricky leak beside a pool. Not only did they turn up within hours of the call, they found the location allowing for a minimal disturbance to the surrounding pool area where the leak was. They kept us informed throughout the process and even followed up today to ensure we were in the right locati...on. 18.01.2022 Always good to be extending our knowledge base and to be able to handle working with complexities of being far from home to deliver a sound resolution for our friends down at the @cumberlandlorne . Always alot more planning doing this work due to suppliers not stocking this size piping/fittings near by. Nice bit of kit the bermaid serviceable pressure reduction valves. We did a partial installation at our factory to speed up our site visit today as most of you that follow u...s would know. 14.01.2022 A solid 2 day hit out to get this wet tapping sorted for our next childcare centre. 32mm recycled water , 40mm potable water and 100 fire service. Good to be working a bit closer to home base than we have been lately. We left the fire service components out of the set up due to high amount of theft of water meter and backflow devices at the minute. 13.01.2022 The most important tool you need to make a gas line safe again is patience and a level head. Client had a spike in there gas bill and called us in. With a methodical approach we were able to identify the leaks in the line and show our client where the issue was. We have three properties that have missing assembly's (RPZ,dual checks and meters) The dodgy scrap metal industry have alot to answer to in relation to this issue. 11.01.2022 Always good to be called in to help out friends with business expansion during these uncertain times. A true representation of a hard working business, they have out grown there current workspace. We installed a new blue tube airline into the new home of @laracabinets . Good to be working with airlines again. Similar principles to installing gas lines with flow allowances. Line installed and pressurised up to working pressure with a compressor to ensure there was no leaks.... 02.01.2022 One of our installs this week to increase the water pressure of a day hospital in hoppers crossing. The water pressure at the main was to low to operate specialised washing equipment before a RPZ was installed. So it was definetly to low once a RPZ was installed before it. 01.01.2022 Been a solid couple days on the hammer, it is easier to walk away from these jobs. But very glad to be able to rectify a drain that has been continually blocking since it was installed. We didn't install the drain on this job. It has been blocking due to very sub standard repair by a concretor during construction. The drain has a collapsed pair of fernco joiners and a junction cut in back to front. Will be another couple days to get it right, but never shy to be able to reso...lve a issue like this. Anyone that truly knows me, knows my commitment to work and the focus that I have to get a sound resolution for any issue that comes my way.
