25.01.2022 Australia's first dementia-friendly trail has been unveiled in Ballarat. The Dementia-Friendly Forest & Sensory Trail is located at the entry to Woowookarung Re...gional Park in Katy Ryans Road (near Elsworth Street). According to the Ballarat Times News Group, the inclusive trail boasts "wetlands, a boardwalk and six circular outdoor rooms with large rocks where people with dementia, their carers, friends and families or other visiting community groups can rest and enjoy the smells, sights, sounds and textures of the bush". 07.01.2022 LEARN TO MAKE THE PERFECT SCONE FROM SCONE WOMAN Join 92-year-old Scone CWA member Muriel Halsted through a short but sweet tour of her classic scone recipe.... The CWA decided to bring their scones into the virtual world after the cancellation of the Sydney Royal Easter Show last month. The group often sells as many as 50,000 scones, tea and coffee products created by its members at the show each year, but has now opted to selling PDF recipes following a $5 donation for a plate of virtual scones.
