In the early hours of the morning of 24th May 2020, in heavy sea conditions approximately 40 nautical miles to the South East of Sydney, Singapore-flagged container ship APL ENGLAND temporarily lost propulsion. As at the time of writing, it has been estimated that approximately 40 containers have been lost overboard with a further 80 containers damaged.
