24.01.2022 Just to add one more story to the "you can't make this shit up" album: Yesterday the Victorian Parliament passed euthanasia legislation making it legal for the dying to request a lethal injection to end their suffering. The legislation has seen both houses of parliament sitting through the night to debate all 141 clauses of the bill - it has been a long few weeks for all. Victoria is the first state in Australia to allow euthanasia. Yesterday the sun was on the last of Scorpio - 29 degrees - a sign that rules death & dying. Today the sun has moved into Sagittarius - a sign that has at its heart a desire for freedom - which is what the dying now have - a freedom to make choices.

22.01.2022 In just less than two hours the moon will be full in the sign of Taurus. This is the second favourite sign for the moon. 20.01.2022 Many of you are familiar with the astrology event called "Mercury Retrograde" - a time when all forms of communications (email, snail mail, text messages, social media commentary, phone calls and voicemail etc) and the providers of those communication avenues (your internet provider, the NBN, google, Telstra, Optus etc etc) become the playing field for the tricksters Castor & Pollux (the Gemini?Mercury twins). Also on the list of possible upsets are minor car accidents and un...scheduled car maintenance. The signing of or entering into any sort of contract needs to be done with caution and due diligence. Mercury will be retrograde from Saturday 24 March until Monday 16 April (AEST). The twins will be travelling through the sign of Aries (already an accident prone sign). As Mercury retrograde periods go - this one will be tempered - meaning if you do your homework (and stay alert not alarmed) than the chances are you could move through this normally disruptive period without too much upset. (For those who know a little astrology - read Mars - ruler of Aries - is in Capricorn - meaning the mercury retrograde in Aries will be somewhat eased by the restraint of Mars in Capricorn - the second best home for Mars). 18.01.2022 The sun moved into Pisces this morning - it joins Venus, Mercury, Neptune and Chiron - all that makes for a lot of Piscean energy So what does it mean and how can it manifest?? Well for me it means I just want to sleep !!!! For others it may mean wanting to indulge in chocolate/wine, for others it could mean a trip to the cinema or theatre or art gallery - it means allowing ourselves to be inspired by those things that help lift us up out of the mundane of life - basically the energy is about "escapism" - letting go and surrendering Give yourselves permission over the next few weeks to daydream a little more often, to give into flights of fantasy, to allow the imagination to take over the mind - meditate, pay attention to your dreams, enter the mystical and magical realms

15.01.2022 It's been a while - my mojo is slowly coming back :) Had some tremendous help from Kerrie Hourigan - thank you Kerrie. So firstly - I'd like to let you all know about a weekend workshop happening in Newcastle - Saturday 22 April & Sunday 23 April 2017. I will be presenting my Astrological Fingerprints workshop which is a introduction to the basics of astrology - planets signs and houses. It works for those who know nothing about astrology to those who know some things but want to know more. I will post more on the workshop - prices & places etc - shortly.

14.01.2022 If you're still thinking of jumping on the "New Year's Resolution" train then Wednesday 17 January at 1:17pm is your last chance. Six planets will line up in the astrology sign (Capricorn) that best supports those who seek to improve their lives, those who are about setting goals and those who are looking for results. If you are already on board the train you may find extra incentive to continue with your new found regimes - or you may want to modify, review or renew altogether the commitment you made to yourself earlier in the month. For those of us not interested in the train trip at all - Wednesday's new moon is a great day to set a personal goal that can be achieved within a (lunar) month. You, too, will find that if you get stuck into the project than the effort to complete the task will be minimal.

12.01.2022 feeling like this year is just powering along - like plans are falling into place nicely - like new year's resolutions seem a little easier to keep - like life is treating you kindly - like the sun and stars are shining just that bit more brightly .......... well maybe that's because all planets in our solar system are moving forward at the moment - in fact they have been all year and will continue to do so until 9 March if you identify with a life that feels a little easier at the moment - for whatever reason and in whatever way - then recognise the "power" of direct planets when planets go retrograde (as Jupiter will on 9 March) we will need to change from cruise control to manual gears - in others words we will need to put a bit more effort into making life happen for us

06.01.2022 We start a new lunar cycle today - the sun and the moon meet up in the sign of Libra - a sign which likes balance and harmony and dislikes conflict. 05.01.2022 Just in case you hadn't heard - there is a total lunar eclipse at 26 mins past midnight - thursday 1 Feb - that is for the ADST time zone - others will need to check their favorite "time & date" websites for the timing in your area Despite what many are reporting - this is not a blue moon here in Australia - but it is a supermoon - meaning the moon is as close as it gets to the earth making it appear larger than normal Therefore if the clouds stay away in your neck of the woo...ds Wed/Thurs night you will be in for a real treat as the moon turns what they call "blood red" That's the astronomy of the lunar eclipse - from an astrology point of view we could think of a super full moon & total eclipse together as a normal full moon on steriods - LUNAcy will take over The eclipse will have a greater affect on those with points or angles at 11, 12, 13 degrees of taurus, leo, scorpio or aquarius All of us will want to mark 12 degrees Leo in the chart - for this degree will remain particularly sensitive to transiting planets for some time to come See more
