25.01.2022 News today that the 2020 Riverfire Fireworks spectacular has been officially cancelled. The Festival activities will still proceed although not as usual. 21.01.2022 We have postponed our return to cruising until mid September. Our vessel is undergoing a full refit and will be better than ever to cater to your party. When we return we will be fully licensed for drinks, with a whole new bar and service area. COVID-19 restrictions currently limit us to 30 pass unless the restrictions change again in the coming months. Hopefully we can get back to our 60 capacity as soon as possible. 19.01.2022 Charter Update, As a result of the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its recent declaration by the World Health Organisation as a pandemic, Aquarius Charters can confirm that we are taking appropriate action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of our crew, guests and associated persons. We are monitoring the situation very closely and our Management team are meeting regularly to get the most up to date information from the governing authorities and implementing th...e guidelines set out by these health professionals. Our main focus at this point is to operate as close to business as usual as possible but take all measures possible to protect the public & our crew to minimise the chance of spreading this virus ourselves. We can confirm that we have taken the following actions. Our crew have all been briefed/reminded of personal hygiene & how to sanitise their hands. The vessel will be sanitised frequently before and throughout each cruise. Sanitiser will be available for the use of our crew and guests. Our Sales Team are based in office and available to communicate through phone, email, messenger, text so you have the contact you require during this period. Any staff presenting with Flu like symptoms are sent home for 14 days or until cleared by a health professional. I can assure you we will continue to monitor the situation very closely and give further updates. No bookings will be taken for the near future. Any bookings made for the next two months will have their deposits returned. We will maintain email and phone contact as usual. 13.01.2022 Update for Aquarius Charters. We are currently running as BYO and will be until around early March 2020. From then we will be fully licensed for alcohol. This will a big advantage for those not wanting to have to bring drinks and Ice to the boat, which can be a bit of an effort sometimes. We are yet to formalise our drinks pricing, but should be inline with all other venues. We will have drinks packages to offer also. We have been busy preparing our vessel for the drinks bar and food service area with new fridges installed etc. we will be looking forward to serving you in the near future. Cheers Wayne

12.01.2022 Well its now less than a week before our Riverfire Spectacular. Great pre fireworks entertainment and then the big boom of the fireworks echoing off the city buildings. 10.01.2022 Party Bookings are still available. Currently, there is no official word on a lockdown. Many restaurants and bars have already implemented precautionary measures, from staggering bookings to stepping up their sanitation procedures, so they can continue to trade safely. Readers are reminded that dining out has not been deemed unsafe by the Federal Government and the nations restaurants and bars desperately need the countrys support to continue to operate

06.01.2022 Aquarius Charters would like to thank everyone who has held their special event with us on the river. For 15 years we have been the largest BYO vessel on the Brisbane River and it is now time to make a change. As from April 2020 we will be a fully licenced vessel for alcohol. This may not be great news for some of the groups we have had in the past, but a great benefit for the majority of our clients booking for their future events. It was never easy for our guests to get the...ir drinks to the vessel and the ice was always a pain in the you know where. Also it was too difficult for our staff to control amount of drinks that were consumed, leaving some of our guests a bit worse for ware at the end of the cruise. All our staff will be fully RSA qualified and we will have a bar service area with a comprehensive drinks list. We will also promote special cruise deals as we venture into our new year as a licenced vessel. More updates will be posted as they come to hand. Dont forget our most popular night of the year, RIVERFIRE. 26th of Sept. This years ticket not only includes food but all the drinks for the night.
