Kym's lessons will be on Thursday at their normal time slot Maureen and Tarsh's lessons will be on Friday at their normal time slot. ... 22.01.2022 We have some exciting news As a Royal Life Saving Society endorsed Swim School we've decided to make some changes to simplify our Infant program! We are now going to be running the Royal Life Saving Society Infant Aquatics Program!! The RLSSWA Infant Aquatics Program was designed with assistance of LAURIE LAWRENCE and other key players in the swimming community! There are 138 endorsed swim schools across the state who use this program and we've decided to jump on board ... The program is a comprehensive and balanced program that provides experiences in six aquatic strands and age groups just like our program but simpler! These strands are consistent with the Swim & Survive program. The six strands are: Getting Wet Breathing Going Underwater Staying Afloat Keeping Balance Basic Kick and Arm Action ~ Stages & Age groups ~ The Infant Aquatics program has six development stages to encourage continued participation. The different age groups reflect the motor, cognitive and social development of infants and toddlers. These age groups are: Stage 1 - First 12 months Stage 2 - 12-18 months Stage 3 - 18 months 2 years Stage 4 - 2 years 2.5 years Stage 5 - 2.5 years 3 years Stage 6 - 3 years plus We look forward to teaching this program starting Monday! 21.01.2022 Swim school starts tomorrow and our teachers are excited to start! It does look like we may be in for some rain and possibly a storm, it seems a current trend for the start of swim school every year We will be monitoring the weather with pool management throughout the day and a decision will be made around 12-1pm tomorrow to decide if we will go ahead with lessons. If lessons don't go ahead another day this week will be chosen at the teacher's discretion as per our terms... and conditions. Please understand we are on a tight schedule with days and all of our teachers work other jobs. Also, being an outdoor pool we can't control the weather. Please watch this page for an update tomorrow and please understand we will not be able to answer messages due to other work commitments during the day. Thanks Admin

16.01.2022 Due to the current situation with the Coronavirus and the drop in temperature we have decided to cancel our 2.40 and 3.30 baby/toddler classes on Friday. All other classes will go ahead, however it is up to your discretion if you want your child to swim. If your child is NOT going to attend can you please let us know. Certificates can be collected from the front counter from SATURDAY onwards. ... Thank you for your understanding

This was Tarsha’s first series of teaching our swim school cherubs and we are so proud of her teaching efforts. You’ve always been an asset to our swim school Tarsh but we have loved seeing you flourish and spread your wings with our little cherubs You’re awesome!

15.01.2022 Swim School is CANCELLED Today's make up lesson will be this THURSDAY the 12th with the same time slot as today's lessons. As per our terms and conditions it is up to our teacher's discretion what day suits them to do the make up lesson. ... Please understand that if you cannot make the lesson, it is out of our hands and there are no credits given. Our teachers work full time so are on a strict schedule with the hours and days they can work and unfortunately as an outdoor pool we cannot control the weather. Thanks Admin

09.01.2022 We’ll be running a 5 day Program for ages 3 years and over from the 6th -10th of January ***We appreciate your business and enquiries however we hope you understand that we won’t be answering enquiries until after Boxing Day***** We have one teacher available in the morning for ages 4 years and over from 9am - 11.30am. ... Afternoon classes will be starting at 2pm for 3 years and up. Unfortunately we won’t be running any baby classes until school returns in February. Enrolment day will be MONDAY the 30th December at our office from 2 - 3.30pm. Cost is $85 for group lessons. So we can enjoy some quality family time we would appreciate enquiries after Boxing Day. Enrolment day is Tuesday 21st January at 2pm at our office at the Collie Pool. We are also taking enrolments now through messenger. When messaging please provide us with your email address so we can send you our enrolment form. Cost is $80 for a group lesson and $160 for a private 1 on 1 lesson. PLEASE NOTE - For online enrolments fees must be transferred before commencement of lessons and proof of transfer is required to secure your Childs spot. 01.01.2022 Last series for summer starting on MONDAY 10th February. ENROLMENT DAY for our last series is WEDNESDAY 5th February at 9.30am - 10.45am at our office at the pool. ... This series will run for 6 weeks with children coming 1 day a week on either Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Saturday's will be an option if there is enough interest and classes are full. Monday and Tuesday's classes will start at 2.40pm. There are no allocated time slots for stages 1 and up as of yet. Infant aquatic programs will be run on WEDNESDAY'S with the following times. 9.10 am - 2 - 3 year olds 2.40 pm - 12 - 18 months 3.20 pm - 6 - 12 months 4.00 pm - 18 months - 2 years COST - $95 for group lessons $190 for private 1 on 1 lesson As an independent swim school unfortunately our fees DO NOT include pool entry. We are also taking enrolments now through messenger. Please include your EMAIL address when messaging and also allow a day or two for us to process your enrolment. Proof of payment MUST be made the day you enrol to secure your child's place. ** Please understand that as an independent swim school it is not feasible to run a class with only 2 children in it. 01.01.2022 We're introducing JUNIOR SQUADS for stages 4 and over with KYM LATHAM Kym comes with 10 years of swimming and coaching experience and is brilliant at what she does Junior squads focuses on building your child's endurance whilst maintaining their correct stroke over distance. Kym will be doing drills to build your child's endurance and will be using flippers to help improve your child's kick.... At this stage we look at running Junior Squads on Monday after school. Squads will run for 30 minutes and will be the same cost as our lessons - $95 for 6 weeks. A discount will be given for children already enrolled in our program. If you wish to enrol for Junior Squads you can do so through messenger or come down to our enrolment day at the pool on Wednesday from 9.30am - 10.45am. See you there
