25.01.2022 Safety week activities What are some of the activities we will cover this week? How to safely rescue someone from outside of the water. ... Experience a variety of different floor surfaces (simulation mud, stones, slippery rocks, sea weed and sand). How to behave when stuck in seaweed or grasses. Using a number of different aids to float. How to behave in rough water/water with a strong current. How to safely enter the water in a life jacket. What to do when a boat capsizes. How to climb safely out of the water even on a slippery river bank. How to respond when the depth of water suddenly changes. And so much more! Want to know more information about any of the activities? Speak to any staff member about what we do and why, we’re all very passionate about water safety and can give a detailed answer.

16.01.2022 Our last day of swimming for 2020.. It’s hard to summarise or recap the year we’ve all had here in Victoria but what we do know is that we need to send out the biggest, most heartfelt THANKYOU ... To all customers who stuck by us, supported us and helped us make it through. We wish you all the happiest and safest of holiday breaks and cannot wait to smash out 2021 with you all Love, the aquastyle family

15.01.2022 PUNCTUALITY Being on time is important in all areas of life.. Swiming is no different. Our lessons are planned to individually suit your child .. from the starting minute to the last.... If your child misses out on the start/warm up activities this can greatly affect them for the rest of the class. Often for the younger ones bubbles/water on the head/submersions can be the start activity setting them up for confidence to blow bubbles and put there eyes in for the rest of the class. In some classes leg kick technique is focused on as the beginning activity - setting the child up for brining strong, correct kicking into thier swimming stroke. Please have your child ready to get into the water at the very beginning of thier class to set them up for success! Happy Swimming

09.01.2022 . We are so excited, just like these brothers that we can re-open our doors as of tomorrow WEDNESDAY 28th July to all our customers. We still have some strict guidelines to follow as you have no doubt heard announced by the Victorian Government. We please ask for your help to adhere to them, so we can stay open and continue doing what we love ONE parent per family... QR code EVERY time you enter our centres Changerooms are available but where possible we ask no lingering as this affects our numbers in our building. Please towel dry, warm clothes, winter beanie and leave as quickly as possible Sanitise hands Masks must be worn in our centres at all times We cannot wait to see you all

07.01.2022 Pool area hygiene Please help us keep our concourse area clean and hygienic for all customers. NO FOOD OR DRINK IS TO BE CONSUMED ON POOL DECK ... If your little one needs a snack whilst waiting for their sibling we kindly ask you do this in the foyer. Likewise if you are sipping a coffee we ask you finish prior to entering the pool area. Thankyou for your co operation.

06.01.2022 FRIDAY 18th June WE CAN OPEN!!!!!!!!!! Obviously there are still some rules we must all adhere to so this can be a safe opening. Please take the time to read the following: ... All spectators will be required to check into the building using the QR code system (staff will be ready and able to assist if needed) There is a firm restriction on the number of spectators in the building (ie parents/guardians) - This means ONE PARENT/GUARDIAN PER FAMILY. No exceptions will be given. - This means NO SIBLINGS can attend to watch the lesson. - To assist us with this, if your child is happy to enter the centre independently whilst you wait outside/in the car that would be a tremendous help and all staff will be ensuring their comfort and safety whilst in our care. - This regulation may mean you’re asked to wait outside until someone has left the building. In this case staff will be ready and able to assist your swimmer getting to their class on time if need be. At Development Boulevard, ENTRY through the front doors, EXIT at the side of building into the car park. Face masks to be worn by all spectators. (If you have a medical exemption please bring it along and show staff on arrival) All spectators will be expected to sanitise their hands upon entry to the centre. All spectators will be expected to follow social distancing guidelines (chairs separated and floor/bench markings have been done for you to make this easier PLEASE DO NOT move chairs around in the foyer) The changerooms and showers ARE open for NECESSITIES only. For example: No hair drying to be done in centre No lengthy showers (rinsing only) We strongly discourage the use of the change rooms wherever possible. We cannot wait for Friday See you soon
