25.01.2022 So... today was scheduled to be our first day of Denistone East Public School swimming program. We had our swimming bags packed and swim caps on . Due to COVID restrictions, we are still subject to lockdown requirements and will wait... again to open our doors. We miss you and are so disappointed, but know that if we all do the right thing, this will be over shortly and we can get back to the pool. Good luck with your home schooling journey. 23.01.2022 We welcome the news that outdoor public swimming pools will open from Monday 29 September 2021. Our pools do not fit into that category and so we remain closed. 11.01.2022 Did somebody say swimming pools? As per the media release and "Roadmap to Freedom" communicated through the NSW Government yesterday, swimming pools will be amongst the first venues to reopen once the 70% vaccination rates are achieved. When we have more information around what that will look like, we will be in touch with all of our customers.
