24.01.2022 Finally completed this massive job for Byron shire council. Heres a small video of two of our harvesters dragging over a huge mass of salvinia.

20.01.2022 Before and after - This area was absolutely infested with water lettuce. The second photo shows the large piles of removed weeds on the waters edge. The final photo still requires a follow up treatment to remove the small floating clumps of water lettuce but the difference is still quite evident.

07.01.2022 Leaving an area for the wildlife is very important! Here is a swamp hen nest where mummy is guarding her nest. She wasnt very impressed as i got close to take the photo.

06.01.2022 Heres the results from a recent job. This section was completely infested with Typha (also known as Cattail and Bullrush). In smaller lakes/dams cattails can be a nuisance species. Cattails have a large rhizome system that is capable of rapidly expanding within shallower water depths and can easily encroach upon a small waterbody. Call AWS for a free quote today!

05.01.2022 Centenary Park, Caboolture for Moreton Bay Regional Council. Before and after. I was a bit dissapointed that we didnt get to spend a bit longer as there was a bit more algae to remove, however the client only wanted three days in time for Australia Day. Never the less, the difference is quite noticeable. This was only one of two lakes that were completed.

01.01.2022 Thanks to the guys at Coles Earthworks for lifting the harvester in for me at the Mount Tamborine Botanical Gardens. Once I have some after photos I will post up the results of the job. Have a safe weekend everyone! Scott
