22.01.2022 BE CALM IN THE STORM Do this grounding technique with me each morning (before breakfast) and evening (before dinner). It’s called Hugging Tree, a Qi Gong standing meditation to keep you stress-free. Increase the flow of energy and build internal strength. Become resilient! Wake up your meridians by tapping, then flush them to prepare yourself for the grounding work. Stand with your feet shoulder-width, and parallel. Bend your knees just slightly (feeling the back...s of the knees as soft and hollow), allowing your weight to sink fully into your feet at the bubbling well the hollow spot center and just below the upper pad area, legs and pelvis are relaxed. Gently roll the knees out a bit without moving the feet. This will tend to lift the arch. Don’t allow the big toes to lose contact with the floor. Then float your hands and elbows up to the level of your heart elbows lower than wrists, palms facing your torso, creating a circle with your arms, with four or five inches between the gently extended fingers of your right & left hands just as though you were indeed hugging a tree. Sink the shoulders down. And then imagine you are hugging that tree, and as you hug the tree you’re also becoming a tree: feel your roots descending, sap being drawn upward through the center of your torso, your arms & legs lengthening, your crown of your head softening to receive sunlight and the energy of the sky from above you. Use inhalation to expand body and exhalation to release unnecessary tension down into the ground using the bones as conduits. Continue to feel your limbs energize, your spine elongate and your muscles relax into the position. Hold for some time. This video runs for 5 minutes. 15.01.2022 I just had an out of body experience whilst watching my daughter’s preparation video this evening for tomorrow’s school schedule. As Little Miss and I were cuddled up together, listening to her teacher explain the tasks to do, I couldn’t help draw myself away and started to observe the moment... There sits a young girl in her mothers arms on the couch. The young girl is ready for bed with her teeth brushed and hair in pig tail plaits. Her mother eager to tuck her in and say g...oodnight, so she can give herself alone time and catch up on her documentaries. I observe the house and how organised it is, how prepared they are for the next day; worksheets and books lined up with stationary in order. But then I’m drawn further out into the night’s sky and observe the community. I have the ability to hear them and see them in my mind’s eye; parents at different stages of home learning, all giving it their best to follow the regulations. And then for a moment I pause and a feeling of certainty rushes over me. A knowing. Like a glimpse of truth, and then it disappears. I’m now back in my body and I see my phone. I see her teacher. I hear her voice. Only 3 minutes had passed by. I re-focus on the video and try to work out what was being said, but I missed the intro and will need to start again. I pause the video and turn to my daughter. Could this all be a social experiment? I mean, of course it is. But it was the first time during this global crisis I felt certainty... But when I came back, it shook me to my core. What did I just witness? Could I have astral traveled in that moment? 01.01.2022 CHEMICAL FREE Do you know farmers spray toxic chemicals on their fruit and veggies? They do this to keep the pesky insects from eating them. These chemicals are called Herbicides and Pesticides. Unless you’re buying organic produce, every fruit and vegetable has toxic chemicals all over them. ... There are ways to wash them off and I’ve been doing it for years! Have I felt a difference with my health? Well, since becoming holistic many moons ago I have not had antibiotics and even when I got tonsillitis once; puss on my tonsils, I cured myself within 3 days naturally. The less toxic chemicals in and on our body, the better! Here’s two ways to wash off the toxic chemicals; 1. ACV WASH Use a stainless steel bowl or wash your sink really well and dry it before using. Fill it with 3 parts cold water & 1 part Apple cider vinegar (ACV). Leave it to soak for 15 mins minutes and then rinse. 2. BICARB WASH Use the same method as above with stainless steel, fill it up with water and put a table spoon of bicarbonate soda (aluminium free). Soak for 20 minutes and then rinse. This method also removes people’s hands and finger prints when they handle the produce. I don’t want to put my mouth to an Apple knowing I could be licking someone else’s snots.
