22.01.2022 This morning we welcomed many new mothers to Aquinas College at our New Mothers Morning. Thank you to the wonderful Ladies Auxiliary volunteers for setting up and reading at the Mass, Steven and his team for the delicious morning tea and Flic for the beautiful floral arrangements. We hope you had a lovely time and the opportunity to meet other new mothers.
21.01.2022 Save the date for our annual July Morning Tea on Thursday 2nd July. We are delighted to announce that this years guest speaker is Rebecca Tomkinson, CEO of the Royal Flying Doctor Service. We are also very excited to announce some big changes this year - we will be serving bubbles on arrival and Steven will be catering the event! Be entertained with performances from the College production South Pacific and the Schola Choir. So tell your friends and family and mark your diaries now!
20.01.2022 A reminder that the Aquinas P&F Term 2 Parent Engagement Online Meeting is on tonight Wednesday 3rd June from 7pm until 8.30pm. Mr Chris McMillan, Head of Arts & Culture will present on the broader co-curricular options that will be available for students, with a focus on the Arts. Mr Michael Dempsey, Head of Middle School and Mr David McFadden, Principal will take questions from the audience (please ask your questions in the Chat function). We are limited to 100 participants for this meeting. If the demand for joining greatly exceeds this number, then we will look to increase capacity for future meetings. This particular meeting will be recorded and will be made available on the College website shortly afterwards. 12.01.2022 Thank you to all the mothers who attended our (very busy) first LAX meeting of the year, it was lovely to see so many of you there. We look forward to seeing everyone and getting to know all the new mothers at our many events this year!
10.01.2022 Last night the Year 11 Boys and their Mothers enjoyed a lovely three course dinner at the South of Perth Yacht Club. The boys spent the afternoon attending an etiquette and deportment session at Aquinas and the dinner gave them the chance to show their Mothers their newly learned manners and skills! Thank you to Mr Simon Montgomery, Head of Chaney House, for coordinating the dinner and to Ann Bunting and the PSG volunteers for assisting and setting up decorations.

04.01.2022 #BREAKING: NAPLAN exams will be cancelled this year due to widespread disruption to schools caused by the coronavirus. STORY: https://ab.co/3a4SKff. Each year s...tudents in years 3, 5, 7 and 9 are tested on literacy and numeracy. This years exams were scheduled for May, but with high absenteeism, some private schools working remotely and public schools temporarily closing after infections, the test will no longer take place this year. The decision was made by consensus at todays COAG Education Council meeting which includes commonwealth, state and territory ministers. The Ministers reiterated their support for the decision to keep schools open.
04.01.2022 CANCELLED: Due to the Coronavirus situation we have decided to cancel the LAX Mums Night Out at The Windsor Hotel on the 28th March. We had record numbers attending this event but the health and safety of our community is a priority. All mothers who had purchased tickets will be contacted via email and will receive a full refund. Thank you for your support and understanding at this time.
