25.01.2022 It’s never too late to do what you want! Love her attitude.

23.01.2022 Interesting article. Once again, a reminder that happiness is a choice and a habit we cultivate.

23.01.2022 All suffering comes from expectations! Where in your life are your expectations getting in the way of your joy?

22.01.2022 Thinking, imagining, remembering, to the mind it’s all the same. It also can’t tell the difference between what’s true or not. It’s all mind chatter! This is why it’s important to be aware of our thinking patterns and styles. To be aware of our mind chatter. We can’t stop our minds from thinking. However, we can control WHAT we think about!

22.01.2022 How much time do you spend everyday thinking, worrying, ruminating on what has already happened or on what you cannot control? Is it good use of your time?

20.01.2022 We’ve definitely seen both of these mindsets through Covid. Although at times we may move from one to the other in our circumstances, with an abundance mindset we take complete responsibility for ourselves, our actions and decisions creating the way for a more empowered way to live.

19.01.2022 Do you ever wonder how much your thoughts are creating your feelings right now? If your thoughts are positive, enriching and exciting you'll probably be feeling pretty good. However, if your thoughts are dull, negative and low in energy you'll probably be feeling just like your thoughts. We have about 50,000 thoughts a day! Your thoughts are creating your feelings and in turn what you do or not do. Think about that...... Have a wonderful week ... https://www.theguardian.com//we-are-what-we-say-how-though

18.01.2022 Remaining resilient through lockdown. Some tips and suggestions that I have found useful to stay resilient through another lockdown.

17.01.2022 Every emotion we feel originates from our thinking. Being aware of our thinking and curating our mind is one of the best forms of self care we can perform to maintain and improve our mental health and wellbeing. We can do this work through meditation and mindfulness training, journaling, coaching, etc. This work is ongoing and always important. In times of crisis and a once in a century event such as this pandemic, it’s essential. ... I’m here to assist you if you want to reach out. PM to discuss further.

17.01.2022 Building resilience everyday in July Thanks Zoe

16.01.2022 So much of our suffering is due to wanting things to be different to what they actually are. Not accepting things as they are. This robs us of so much peace and joy. Most of us know this and yet we still fall into that mindset of wanting things to be different than what they are. I’m not saying that we shouldn’t aim to improve or change a situation that is not good for us. Just that firstly we need to accept that the situation is what it is. Living our lives with a clear int...ent and purpose is one way we can fully experience everything life has to offer us. We can find joy and peace at different times of our day. One way to do do is to do the following exercise. Take a moment out of your day today and find a quiet spot. Take three deep and slow breaths and relax your body. Visualise the day/week you would like to have and things you would like to achieve. As you visualise yourself going about your day and week, Ask yourself these three questions. 1. How do I need to be? (patient, present, understanding, compassionate, organised, direct, tolerant, self focused, committed, disciplined, kind, loving, show self integrity, etc) 2. What do I need to do? (at work, family commitments, have difficult conversations, self care, connect with others, give to others, exercise and diet, say something, etc) 3. What will I have by the end of the day/week? (joy, sense of accomplishment, satisfaction, success, happiness, fun, harmony and peace, connection, energy, etc) We cannot control what others do and say and our external circumstances but we can control how we show up, what we do and how we respond. Have a wonderful Monday and may you have an amazing week

13.01.2022 For many of us personal wellbeing is a priority in our lives. This may include looking after our health, learning new things, connecting with loved ones, enjoying activities that make us feel good. Having a good level of wellbeing is fundamental for our overall health. ...Continue reading

12.01.2022 Most of this year has been tough and challenging for all of us in one way or another. No doubt about that. However, many positive wonderful experiences and opportunities have also surfaced during this time. What are some of the positive takeaways this pandemic has brought you?

10.01.2022 Have you checked your battery life recently?

10.01.2022 Came across this today. Something very powerful is contained in these words when we really absorb them.... __________________________________________________________________ The difference between misery and happiness depends on what we do with our attention.... Stress has a powerful way of biasing our perspective towards the negative. We have to actively work on keeping our attention where we want it to be rather than being carried away into the negative mental chatter. So if you are... Feeling impatient... Feeling irritated by difficult feelings... Or deeply agitated by wanting things to be different from how they are... Acknowledge that the feelings are there, but don't forget to pay attention to what your mind is doing. Become an observer of the feelings rather than just letting them take over. Notice where your mind is at different moments of the day - actually pause and tune in. This will help you to take charge of the parts of your experience that you can control over.

10.01.2022 So true! A great reminder when we feel we have no control of what’s happening to us.

03.01.2022 The choices we make.

02.01.2022 Our mindset is always in our control. The language we use about the events in our lives is also in our control. We always have a choice in how we respond to the circumstances in life and the choices we make are our responsibility and no one else’s.

02.01.2022 Hello!! Here are three simple tips I wanted to share with you that can help you become fully present and aware of the here and now. Bonus benefits include feeling calmer, more focused and happier

02.01.2022 What does your diet look like?

01.01.2022 In unpredictable times we need certainty. It’s the unknown that makes us feel uncomfortable and fearful. Creating your own routine during lockdown and quarantine is a great way to get a sense of structure, certainty and direction in your day. This can alleviate feeling restless, bored and floundering. Do you have a routine that’s working for you?
