24.01.2022 Recent log book Service and full inspection carried out on this customers newly purchased HSV Clubsport.

24.01.2022 Another quality logbook service carried out on this D-Max. 50,000km service aswell as replacing the catch can filter as requested by the customer.

24.01.2022 Stripped sump plug on this MK4 Golf due to negligence during previous servicing prior to seeing us. Unfortunately we were unable to re-thread this sump due to it being Alloy and the risk of it leaking again was too high. Customer opted to have a New sump fitted to replace the old one. As you may see in the photos, we found where the thread from the sump went. Into the oil pick-up tube. Lucky we caught this as it could have caused major damage to the engine. Sump was replaced along with new plug and no more oil leaks are present.

24.01.2022 Customer requested to have a second hand starter-motor fitted to this Deawoo Nibura up in sunny Oberon today. A job we definitely could help out with. Customer was happy to have their car back up and running in no time.

23.01.2022 Recent 70K Minor Logbook service carried out on this little Yaris. This includes the replacement of the engine oil and filter, clean out air and cabin filters, clean and service rear drum brakes along with adjustment of handbrake. All fluid levels topped up including the battery, battery test carried out, tyre pressures adjusted and guest requested to have the wipers replaced aswell.

20.01.2022 Night time work done on this Celica. A nice fresh coolant flush all done for this happy customer

18.01.2022 Recent job done on a Volkswagen golf. Had overheated and was diagnosed elsewhere to potentially be a water pump. Further investigation lead us to believe otherwise as we had found this Coolant plug leaking quite severely during a pressure test we had carried out. We sourced the new part, removed the old broken plug and fitted the new plug. Carried out a coolant flush and bled the system of any air. Roadtested vehicle and resolved the issue previously had.

18.01.2022 Recent 300,000km Service carried out on a Hilux included the following: - Full vehicle check over - Replace Engine oil and filter - Replace Fuel filter... - Replace Timing belt, tensioner and idler pulley - Cleaned Air and Pollen filters - Cleaned and Lubricated rear drums, shoes and adjusted handbrake accordingly - Greased Tail and Prop shafts - Adjusted tyre pressures. The customer was pleased with the service we have provided and now knows their vehicle is in tip top shape.

18.01.2022 A recent Insurance job carried out for Oberon Smash Repairs. Replaced upper control arm and suspension upright on this Navara.

17.01.2022 Checking over a newly purchased vehicle, finding what it needs and what's due for required maintenance, to keep it running.

16.01.2022 Just a quick repair job along with an inspection. During the inspection we found this focus has a misfire caused by spark plugs being over due and worn out, along with brake lights not operating.

15.01.2022 Great Sunday spent up in lovely Oberon once again this weekend. We love doing country work to escape the big smoke of the city.

15.01.2022 Recent service carried out including: 100,000km log book service Rocker cover gasket replacement, as we found the old one was leaking Replaced front brake pads and rotors due to uneven and low wear, as well as shudder and pulsation during braking.

14.01.2022 60km log book service done on this D-max. This includes: Oil and filter change, topped all fluids, battery check and test, replacing air con filter,cleaned and repacking front wheel bearings, cleaned and lubricated drums as well as adjusted handbrake.

11.01.2022 Customer called informing us she had been in a small accident resulting in her steering not feeling quite right. We went and inspected the vehicle for any major damage which is when we came across this severely bent lower control arm. After further inspecting to make sure there were no more damaged components, we replaced the damaged control arm. Took the vehicle for a road test and slightly adjusted the wheel alignment so it was driving straight and that it was safe to drive again. Customer was happy to know that we had her back in the road the next day.

11.01.2022 100,000km log book service done on this Vitara. Only thing this tidy car required was a pollen filter.

11.01.2022 Done a log book service on this neat and tidy little ASX. Topped all fluids, battery was checked and tested, pumped all tyres including the space saver, checked tyre and brake condition and made sure all filters were okay and cleaned out. This car just recently finished its warranty servicing, they gave us a call to see if we could continue their factory log book servicing which of course we can.

10.01.2022 Log book service done on this Navara. Battery test, replaced air and pollen filters as required. Tyre pressures done, including the spare. Cleaned and serviced the drum brake assembly and tightened the canopy bolts down as requested from the owner of the vehicle.

08.01.2022 Repairs done to a HZJ75 Troop Carrier. Leaking radiator replacement includging an upgrade from plastic to copper brass and a power steering pump overhaul. Which includes disassembling, cleaning, replacing seals and o'rings and reassemble.

08.01.2022 Done a quick 150km service on this old Hyundai, including adjusting the park brake as well.

06.01.2022 Routine maintaince doesnt only include your engine oil and filter, but can also require air and cabin filters. These items are often over looked in general service and maintaince.

06.01.2022 Couldn't think of a better way to spend our public holiday other than servicing customers in need! Nice little road trip up to Oberon on Monday with a few services booked. 05.01.2022 Over heating problem with this Swift came to our attention. Carried out an inspection to quickly diagnose the fault which turned out that they required a new thermostat. Sorted out parts and got them back on the road again.

03.01.2022 Done some late night front brakes on a triton that were metal to metal. Those pads definitely could not last any longer then this. Talk about getting the most out of the job

01.01.2022 A cold couple of days it was up in Oberon carrying out a clutch replacement on this Jeep Wrangler. Old Clutch was reportedly shuddering on take off and was struggling to engage gears correctly. The clutch and flywheel assembly were removed and we took the flywheel into Bathurst to have it resurfaced. New clutch assembly was put back in and we refitted the gearbox and other removed components. Finishing with a road test to bed in the new clutch in and make sure it was operational as it should be. The customer also requested to have her Air Filter replaced which was well over due to. All was well and the customer was over the moon to have her vehicle back on the road again.
