25.01.2022 My Web Site www.imoan.com.au has been updated today to include an initial list of assets at clearance prices available for pick-up at Kinglake, Victoria.

24.01.2022 Warrawee Senioreeta did "Shouie" proud early this morning by producing a Tall Chestnut Colt with Imoan Ishmael just on the other side of the open stall partition - she is such a protective mum but allowed the grandkids to kneel with me and do some basic foal imprinting. Damn mobile phones, my daughter Naomi got a photo to facebook before me. Both Dam & Foal doing well. This is the last of "Niarob Shou-Lin--El-Sadat" progeny.

24.01.2022 "Warrawee Senioreeta" has been Sold. Look for her soon performing.

24.01.2022 Imoan Arabians are seeking to either lease or purchase an Experienced Broodmare for this season to assist with the education of our (soon to be registered) young stallion. We are not just seeking any experienced Broodmare but a quality mare preferable with Performance Confirmation & Pedigree Proven breeder of quality performance progeny... Patience 15.2+hh Pure Arabian, Arabian Warmblood or Anglo Arabian I know this is a big wish list but, I would be interested in hearing of any mares that may be available that fulfill all or any of these requirements. The right mare may not necessarily have these requirements, but her presence, temperament, and quality be sufficient to alter my mind.

23.01.2022 Seeking a Quiet gelding 14.3hh+ trained to saddle & good for trail riding. Arabian, Arab/Cross, Quarab, Standard Breed. Preference for Palomino or Paint but not essential. Good Conformation and Attitude for a light female rider. Contact me Peter Cooke 03 5786 1995 0428 386 106 [email protected]

22.01.2022 Buying a Horse, as we all know, is a tricky & skilled business!! "Little Johnny attended a horse auction with his father. He watched as his father moved from horse to horse, running his hands up and down the horse's legs, rump and chest. After a few minutes, Johnny asked, 'Dad, why are you doing that?' His father replied, 'Because when I'm buying horses, I have to make sure that they are healthy and in good shape before I buy. Johnny, looking worried, said, 'Dad, I think the Telecom guy wants to buy Mum "

21.01.2022 12.35pm Just bought Warrawee Senioreeta up to shed . Teats Waxed & dripping , Nipples turned Out. Bought Ishmael up with her in next enclosure so she has company.

16.01.2022 Be careful what you say, pronounce your words correctly - from my natural Horsemanship files "THE HORTH WHITHPERER" If you don't laugh out loud at this, you're just not trying!... A guy calls his buddy, the horse rancher, and says he's sending a friend over to look at buying a horse. His buddy asks, 'How will I recognize him? 'That's easy; he's a dwarf with a speech impediment.' So, the dwarf shows up, and the guy asks him if he's looking for a male or female horse. 'A female horth.' So he shows him a prized filly. 'Nith lookin horth. Can I thee her eyeth?' So the guy picks up the dwarf and he gives the horse's eyes the once over. 'Nith eyeth, can I thee her earzth?' So he picks the little fella up again and shows him the horse's ears. 'Nith earzth, can I thee her mouf?' The rancher is getting pretty ticked off by this point, but he picks him up again and shows him the horse's mouth. 'Nice mouf, can I see her twat?' Totally mad at this point, the rancher grabs him under his arms and rams the dwarf's head up the horse's fanny pulls him out and slams him on the ground. The midget gets up, sputtering and coughing. 'Perhapth I should rephrase that. Can I thee her wun awound a widdlebit?'

16.01.2022 This comment was initially in response to a recent comment about a horse breaking both front legs in a recent UAE Endurance ride, but it has grown since then. If you have sold a registered qualified endurance horse to the UAE, then it was my understanding that you should be able to find it on some International Registry & find out where it is? Money speaks a lot Louder than Horse Welfare & YES, Imoan Arabians did sell horses destined for the UAE.... I have listed below a comment by Eric Hought (a respected horseman in the USA) from the Operations section of my Web Site https://www.imoan.com.au "The rider must place his personal success on hold and elevate the performance of the horse to the fore front. It is all about the success of the horse, not the rider. The 'job' of the rider is to learn as much as possible about how the horse learns and as many techniques possible to manage the horse to his highest achievement. It is the rider's responsibility to see that the horse's self-confidence grows to the point that the horse thinks he is a tiger, YET totally under control Lot’s of owners now use light-weight young jockeys to ride their horses. It’s the owner’s responsibility and to their best interests to make sure the rider understands the horse’s current physical condition, capacity and rides to instructions. I will post this to a few other endurance sites as the 2019 season commences. You are a winner in my view if you can get the Best from your Horse that he/she can produce- this does not mean coming across the line first .

10.01.2022 Still endeavouring to get thoughts together about the future or otherwise of the stud. We only have the two horses at the moment, have land and water to spare (no grass as such). Imoan Ishmael will remain as my personal buddy and mount. Decision still to be made on "Unnamed / Unegistered" Arab Warmblood Colt nicknamed Samuel as to gelding and doing ground work as a project or selling entire - Look at his details on my website and if you have an interest get back to me soon because the decision on his future will be made within the next month

09.01.2022 Only have the two horses at the moment & my Young Colt - The last from my deceased stallion "Niarob "Shou-Lin--El-Sadat" will end up an amazing light Chestnut with an almost flaxen mane. As yet he has not been Officially Named , Branded or Microchipped or Doubly Registered with AHSA or AWS. "Samuel" is an Arabian Warmblood and he has exceptional movement but at this stage has only been "Lightly Handled" I am considering selling him and purchasing a quieter gelding for my wife so we can ride together, mainly trail or training endurance rides. Contact me if you have an interest or have any questions. His Dam is "Warrawee Senioretta". 04286106

08.01.2022 Updated photos of "Imoan Samuel" yet to be registered. DOB 9/10/2017 "it's a big stretch to get to the ground when your legs are long"

07.01.2022 "Al-Kareeme Faberge" IS SOLD

06.01.2022 I will be getting Imoan Samuel? microchipped or branded within the next few weeks so he can be registered with AHSA and other societies. "Sammie" will be 3 YO in October and he is already ~16hh. 75+% Arabian - Arabian/Warmblood. Ultimately he will be registered as a Stallion - a work in progress. Webpage www.imoan.com.au just updated.

06.01.2022 The website is to undergo some serious re-development & update shortly.

05.01.2022 Just updated my Web Site with a Secondary List of Surplus Assets for Sale - Bargain Prices

05.01.2022 Interested to hear of Arabian or Arabian Warmblood Experienced Live Serve Broodmares. Interested only in broodmares with at least 50% Arabian Blood and registered. Still evaluating the future of my young colt "Imoan Samuel", yet to be registered. The website is https://www.imoan.com.au

02.01.2022 ** PRICED TO CLEAR $2,500 TOP Anglo Arabian Mare: Al-Kareeme Faberge 16.2hh 14YO Exceptional quality mare with good bone and a great body. Fabs has been a very successful show horse gaining Top 10 at NSW Horse of The Year shows, many Champion hack awards & Placings at Royals. Suitable for HRCAV, Dressage or Pony Club. Fabs has foaled an Anglo Colt that was exported to NZ and is doing extremely well as a show horse over there, and earlier in 2014 she weaned a fabulous ...Arabian Warmblood Colt. This mare has a good temperament. Can do absolutely anything with her and she passed this temperament on to her two outstanding foals. Fabs was purchased in April 2014 by Imoan Arabians from her Breeder/Owner with the initial aim to use her for breeding. Subsequent to her purchase and the death of my stallion, Imoan Arabians has had a few major changes and the recent decision to cease commercial breeding means this very athletic mare should continue her career elsewhere in a knowledgeable home. Further details & photos can be seen on the Imoan Arabians Web Page: www.imoan.com.au See more
