23.01.2022 I'm sure we're all in the same boat - where has the year gone, it's just flown by and now we're looking down the barrel to Christmas. 2018 has been a fabulous year with all the usual suspects putting in an appearance apart from a couple of hatchling sisters who shall remain nameless at this stage!!! This month's page features Christmas Hatchlings, Leaping False-killer Whale, a pair of Black-winged Stilts, high walking crocodile and White-bellied Sea-eagle. I still have a couple of calendars so if you want a unique Christmas present pm me and I can also mail from the UK!

19.01.2022 Laguna Jasper is a fabulous stone sourced from Mexico, it’s intricate patterns and colour vary with every stone making each creation unique. Here the Jasper is teamed with Carnelian rice beads and Labradorite. PM me for further information as the other necklaces haven’t lasted a full stall!

18.01.2022 Some of you will have heard me complaining (whinging) about the amount of marine debris that has suddenly started washing in on our beaches due to the nor westerly sea breezes kicking in. I've spent a number of hours picking up tiny shards of plastic and nearly 400 floats over the past 3 days but as I said to Alan, there's always a silver lining it's just that sometimes you need to look a little harder. The silver lining for me was the discovery of numerous Ram's Horn shells ...which are a new shell for me. They're a species of Cephalopod - tail-light squid which inhabit deep ocean waters but are pelagic so basically go where the tide takes them - natural history lesson finished!! The gold lining for me was that they make the most awesome pendants, I'm usually a bold jewellery person but have fallen in love with this little beauty - hope you do too. See more

You want to give them similar gifts but with a difference - same same but different as we say. Well the answer might lie with some of my pieces that can be created using different coloured semi-precious gemstones!

13.01.2022 Well it's that time of the year again, hot days, calm seas and lots of turtles means that Christmas is just around the corner. Over the coming weeks I'll be showcasing some of my jewellery in the hope that you'll see something you can't live without and you won't have to do battle with crowds of shoppers - win win. Roman Glass is very old (up to 2000 years old) glass which has been dug up in archaeological digs in Israel and other Mediterranean countries. The patina is caused by the reacting with minerals in the soil. Every pendant and bead are unique and very special.

10.01.2022 An industrious morning finishing off some silver pieces. The PMC was fired last night and then the polishing (both hand and machine), burnishing and finally jumprings and chains to finish off these super cute little pendants. 07.01.2022 Seashore Silver - well that's what I call my PMC (Precious Metal Clay) creations as all the designs are inspired by the treasures from the beach. Today we have an absolutely gorgeous Mermaid Money Pendant and matching earrings with either earwires or studs - just stunning. The pendant and earrings can be bought as a set or individually. I know someone who was eyeing off the set before being gazumped by her brother so PM if you would like me to create your very own Mermaid Money jewellery!

07.01.2022 No on ground tourists has allowed me to experiment with new shapes and textures and go beyond earrings and pendants. The kiln has been hot (very hot) to trot and the results have been beautiful (even if I do say so myself). Introducing the 'Chiton' which is the basis for a new bracelet.

07.01.2022 Introducing Outback Jasper from the Pilbara region of northern Australia! Another two new pieces made it to the stall today and one was snapped up immediately - Texas will be its forever home!

06.01.2022 Well with the Covid-19 virus changing so many of our lives I've realised that I really need to ramp up my social media footprint and let my loyal friends and customers know what I'm up to. My new light tent should arrive next week so prepare yourselves for some amazing product photographs (I hope) but in the mean time I'm working with Silver PMC, here are my Starfish pendants/dramatic earrings (still haven't decided) and the original starfish which I found on the beach at Victoria Settlement - the kiln will be fired up this evening so I should have the finished product in a couple of days (after polishing / burnishing etc) - look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Necklace comes in two lengths - 45cm or 50cm and clasps / earwires can be gold or silver - your choice.

04.01.2022 Literally the last 3 pieces of my Natural Amazing Blue Peruvian Chrysocolla Chrysocolla, the king of carbonate copper gemstones, is an alluring, vivid blue-green colour and is often mistaken for turquoise because they share many visual similarities. As the name suggests these stones are sourced from Peru. 03.01.2022 Making my way through the long list of things to do before we go away and then decide to fire my latest Seashore Silver pendant (no definitely wasn't on the list) but i think you'll agree it was worth doing - a fabulous large Sand Dollar - the 50c is there for scale and not the price!!!!
