22.01.2022 My darling 'grown-up' boy ... his first visit to a professional groomer and he 'loved' the attention and results achieved by this absolutely beautiful young lad...y ... Lyn Parmenter of Dashing Dog Groomers in Smiths Lake. There was an instant rapport between Aragorn and Lyn, he was totally at ease throughout his bath and drying. He usuallly 'tolerates' his bath but has always just loooooved being under the dryer. Lyn was fabulous with him ... so too was her son. Aragorn collects donations for The Kids With Cancer Foundation. If you would like to help, please visit his Facebook page and click on the donation button. He has collected hundreds of dollars in his five years of life and every cent goes to assist the victims and their families. He also brings enormous joy into the lives of so many ... it seems that no-one (not even non-doggy people) can pass him without, at the very least, SMILING!! You may see him out on collection duties at markets, Forster, Tuncurry and Stocklands ... especially in Bunnings where he is greeted by name by almost every staff member. Please feel safe and free to approach him ... have a pat or a hug and make a donation for this very needed and valuable cause. See more

10.01.2022 Hi, everyone. Check out my new Facebook Page, Aragorn The Pyrenean Mountain Dog. I'm excited to share it with you all. Please like the Page, and invite your fri...ends to like it too. I have been collecting donations for Kids With Cancer Foundation for the past five years - since I was a little puppy. Come to think of it . I was probably NEVER 'little'!! Should you meet me 'on the job' somewhere please help by making a donation it doesn't matter how much every donation helps and 100% of funds raised goes directly to assist the families struggling to cope with having a child with cancer. I live near Forster on the mid north coast of New South Wales and I'm often out and about at local markets, shopping with my 'mum & dad' and/or going for a walk down near the lake. If we should meet, please feel free to give me a hug and make a donation. HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE stay happy, safe and healthy. love Aragorn .. woof-woof to all. See more

07.01.2022 Hello everyone ... long time since I've managed an update but I do have some exciting news for all my Facebook and Kids With Cancer friends. My mum, Lorna, has a problem with her balance. It has some official long-handled title like vestibulopathy but to cut to the chase, it means she needs my help to make sure she doesn't fall over when she's out walking. So ... I had to step up to the plate and learn to look after her!... When she's walking (and might I say she's soooo slow that I have to dolly step) I have to make sure I stay right beside her and be ready to brace her against me if she starts to totter!! Poor old pet ... she is getting a bit doddery and I have to be especially careful on steps or stairs with her, but we still have fun together ... in fact ... we now have even MORE fun together because I am now allowed to go EVERYWHERE with her!! YEP ... earlier this year I had to pass my tests to show an inspector that I took my new position very seriously and was well behaved under ALL circumstances. It was a breeze ... I have always been pretty cool about most stuff and I almost NEVER feel cross with anyone or anything even small dogs who usually want to 'eat me'!! Silly little bad tempered critters ... don't they know I could almost squash 'em flat with one foot?? Anyway ... I PASSED!!! So now I am officially mum's fully accredited Assistance Dog!! We've had some pretty fun stuff happen since! I have stayed at some pretty swank hotels, been to some magnificent restaurants, travelled in trains, buses, boats, cars and could be heading for Queensland by plane shortly! I've met some amazing people and just about everyone wants to say 'hello' and tell me what a good job I'm doing! It's great. These days, people need to ask 'mum' before patting me as I am busy concentrating on my very important job. I still like it when mum is able to carry my Kids With Cancer Donation Tin because people still love to donate and help these kids and their families. Keep your eyes peeled ... you could see me anywhere these days!! I'll try and post a few pics of me 'out'n about' and I look forward to maybe meeting you in my travels. Don't forget ... you can just press the DONATE button to make your much needed gift to the Kids With Cancer Foundation
