12.01.2022 Two years after the last "Emergency Exit Drive Through", the Roleystone Volunteer Fire Brigade organised another for Estate residents on Thursday, 6 December 2018. Unfortunately the turn out was poor, with only five cars making the journey. They made their way behind a Fire Light Truck down the emergency track from Heritage Drive, alongside the 18th and 17th fairways, out through Armenti Road and then back into the Estate to exit down Old Albany Lane and Wymond Road. Due to some modification by persons unknown, the Firies had a bit of a struggle opening the emergency gate at Wymond Road, but eventually succeded. Thanks go to Chris, Bob and the boys from the Roleystone Fire Station for organising the event. They only hope to have more participants next time! Have you had your fireside chat?

03.01.2022 This week a number of the residents of Protector Grove met to be brought up to date for the coming fire season. Chris Cairns of the Roleystone Volunteer Fire Brigade, gave a very informative talk which was followed by residents questions. Many thanks Chris.
