25.01.2022 MERIT AWARD The LAQ Merit Award is presented to persons of high character that show an unselfish willingness to work for the betterment of Little Athletics.... Recipients must have given a minimum of eight years’ service at Centre level and should clearly demonstrate a commitment to furthering the growth and development of their Centre. They must also have been involved for at least three years at Centre Committee level. In addition, recipients should have regular involvement at LAQ competitions. In 2020, there are seven recipients of the LAQ Merit Award. 25.01.2022 Little Athletics Australia has announced today that the conduct of organised activities at Little Athletics Centres should be suspended immediately due to the e...volving situation of COVID-19 until further notice. Further to this, LAQ is providing more information and the effects on Centre and LAQ operations. 14.01.2022 Spent the afternoon erecting barriers to try to give the inside lanes a chance to rest and recover. Please help by avoiding high use areas here and other sports fields around the area so when sports do start up again facilities are in great shape.

It is a requirement that all persons attending the event MUST check in when they arrive, using the check in code that will be located around the grounds. As an example, if you have a 3x3m tent, a maximum of four people are allowed to be under it. This is the first LAQ Carnival of the year, and we are looking forward to welcoming you all to Bundaberg for a fantastic day of competition.
