24.01.2022 CALLING ALL 1942 EX-STUDENTS: Pat Townsend was an inaugural student at CBC Leederville in the first year, 1942 and is seeking anyone who attended the school that year. Pat is now 90 and lives in Claremont. He was one of 10 boys in the Junior University class. Other students were: Jack Wardrop, Kevin McGinnity, Lex Oma, Harry Holmes, Tony Phillips, John Sutherland, Harry Duncan, Jim OMalley and Ron Bradbury. ... 24.01.2022 Congratulations to former Aranmore student (graduated in 2015) Cheyelle Robins-Reti, who joins the Black Ferns Sevens team for the first time, following a stint as travelling reserve to the Sydney tournament. Cheyelle joins an otherwise unchanged and experienced team to play the HSBC World Rugby Womens Sevens Series tournament in Las Vegas next week.

19.01.2022 RugbyWA announced Wests Scarboroughs Premier Grade coach Dwayne Grace as COACH OF THE YEAR for a second consecutive season, after leading his side to the min...or premiership and consecutive Grand Final appearances. This, along with his role in the State Youth 7s and the Aranmore Catholic College Specialist Rugby Program has earned him a coaching role with the Perth Spirit for the up and coming NRC season. 03.01.2022 Aranmore Alumni Pulling on the Force Jersey! Aranmore Catholic College has long held a reputation as one of Western Australias most prestigious rugby schools and the schools high quality rugby program is bearing fruit with three former students now playing for the Road Safety Western Force. 2011 graduate Kane Koteka was the first Aranmore product to debut for the Force when he ran out against the Hurricanes in 2015 and this season is joined by Chance Peni and Curtis Rona after they returned home following successful stints in rugby league. 02.01.2022 Good luck to our newest Olympian! Mangar Chuot, Class of 2007, is about to head off to Brazil to represent South Sudan in the Rio Olympics. He will be competing in the 100m and 200m sprints, against the likes of Usain Bolt! This is South Sudans first Olympic appearance, after gaining independence in 2012. Mangar attended our school athletics carnival last year and ran the 100m invitational, from a severe handicap and his speed was amazing to see! Even starting up to 40m behi...nd some runners he won with a large gap. We wish Mangar the best of luck and will be eagerly watching.
