25.01.2022 Ok fellow Spotifiers! What an album I've found this week; Cyborgs Revisited by Simply Saucer. It's a Canadian band from the early 70's, who were completely unknown except in there own small town and this album of some demos and live recordings was released years after they broke up! Think Velvet Underground, The Stooges with a touch of Pink Floyd. It's a bit rough and ready but it's great listening!!

13.01.2022 An end of an era! 5.10 will exist in name only. Adidas has ditched all the old models, the shoes will be made in China and they have decided that there will be no distributors at all for 5.10 climbing shoes. (I presume they'll have internet sales only. That will be an interesting exercise in the respect of getting the right fit!). When Adidas bought the 5.10 business they didn't get the formulae for the 5.10 rubber (stupid or what!!) so who knows what they'll be putting on the new shoes! A new business, started by some ex-employees of the original 5.10 company, named Unparalled Climbing (UP Climbing) have got the 5.10 rubber formulae, so when I run out of the 5.10 Stealth, the UP rubber will be the replacement. I do have some UP rubber if anyone wants to try it. (Go on! Be the first one on the crag to try it!)

10.01.2022 This weeks musical interest on Spotify to keep the motivation flowing while resoling everyone's shoes is an English band named Shame and their debut album "Songs of Praise'. Worth a listen!!

08.01.2022 For all of those unaware. Phil has been in a serious car accident. His injuries are numerous. He has now had surgery and is recovering. He is still in ICU and the doctors are hoping to have him off life support in the next few days. Every day it seems the news is better and it has gone from 'if he will pull through' to 'how long his recovery time will be' . Resoles obviously are on hold, as I wouldn't dare try, but the shop is open as per normal.

01.01.2022 An Update From Phil: After 3 weeks in ICU and another almost 7 weeks of recovery and rehab I think I can see the exit sign at the end of the hospital corridor! One ankle is about 2 weeks away from load bearing and my right wrist is being fused tomorrow, so I'm hoping I'll be out of here in about a month. I presume it will still be awhile, after I return to Natimuk, before I'm up to speed with the resoling but I will keep you all posted when I am. Thanks to everyone who sent me messages of support and a speedy recovery, they all helped! Postscript: 9th Sept 2019 - After 5.5 months I'm back home in Nati!
