11.01.2022 Dear sock knitters: Corona virus update It is too early at this stage to give a definite answer about whether the Ararat Sock Festival will go ahead as planned, whether the format will be altered, or whether it may be postponed until later on. However, we are all likely to have more time to knit! Why not help small business along by buying some more wool and starting another pair of socks? You may be able to enter twice as many pairs as you had planned! Please all stay well, help to flatten the curve, and keep washing your hands! Best wishes to all, Heather Scott

05.01.2022 Dear sock knitters and friends of the Ararat Sock Festival: we have reluctantly made the decision not to hold the Sock Festival in 2020, due to covid-19. We have set a date of August 20-21, 2021 and booked the Ararat Town Hall, and hope to see you and all your socks in 2021.
