25.01.2022 NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia annually to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. Ararat College students and staff are celebrating in a number of ways this week such as with NAIDOC Kahoot trivia, some native tree planting in our First Nations cultural garden and our annual Marngrook longest kick competition. Happy NAIDOC Week!

24.01.2022 Natimuk artist Dave Jones has been working on a metal sculpture of the yellow-tailed black cockatoo, a significant bird for the Djab Wurrung people, with Ararat... College. The piece will highlight the importance of connection to Country for our First Peoples. Here’s a sneak peek, we can’t wait to see the finished sculpture. #NAIDOCWeek #art

12.01.2022 On Wednesday December 2nd at 7pm we will be offering two parent seminars. It will be a virtual event, meaning you can attend in the comfort of your own home and will go for 60mins. One seminar is for parents of students commencing VCE in 2021 and the other for parents of students commencing VCAL in 2021.
