21.01.2022 Update on the COVID-19 situation in Victoria as it affects our practice. We remain open for emergency and urgent care. #carnegiedentist#carnegie#dentist#dentalemergency#dentaltrauma

15.01.2022 It is heartbreaking to see the devastation to properties, livestock and most importantly lives of the many people affected by the bush-fire crisis engulfing our nation presently. However, it is also heart-warming to see that in the darkest of times, so many people banding together and taking the initiative to raise funds to support the many affected by this tragedy. One such initiative where we have contributed to is the campaign initiated by the Essendon Football Club and the captain of the club, Dyson Heppell. This is one avenue where we can, in our way, contribute to the help the many directly affected by this crisis. No contribution is too small as the saying goes, many hands (no matter how small) make light work ( and significant contributions). Please do note that this endeavour will run until this Friday the 10th of January.

15.01.2022 Due to the uncertainty and volatility of the current COVD-19 status that metropolitan Melbourne is currently facing, we have decided to limit scope and availability of routine dental treatment for the present time. While not mandated by any regulation or restrictions to do so, we have taken this proactive approach to guarantee the safety of all our patients as well as our staff at the practice until there is further clarity on the status of the current situation. However, do ...know that our phones and emails will continue to be attended to and all emergencies will be seen to promptly. We will also endeavor to complete any current treatment that is currently ongoing. Be assured that Arawatta Dental Centre will continue to employ protocols above and beyond what is required for the Level 2 Dental Restrictions, as recommended by the Australian Dental Association (ADA), to ensure that we will all be safe. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. #dental #dentist #dentistmelbourne #dentalmelbourne #dentalpractice #dentalpracticemelbourne #dentistofmelbourne #dentistcarnegie #carnegiedentist #australiandentist

12.01.2022 After a long lockdown and restriction period, there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel. As of Monday the 28th of September the COVID-19 Dental Restrictions that apply to metropolitan Melbourne will be reduced back to Level 2. Strict protocols and procedures will remain in place but the easing of restrictions will allow us more flexibility and increase the range of care that our practice will be able to provide. We will be in touch in the coming days to reorganise the... appointments that had been rescheduled to comply with the restrictions imposed. Please be patient with us as we go through this extensive list. Thank you for your understanding, patience and most importantly, your support in these unprecedented times! #carnegiedentist#dentist#dental#carnegie#covid19#dentalrestrictions#melbourne

12.01.2022 With the improvement and success in Australia’s effort in flattening the COVID-19 pandemic curve, we are pleased to announce that the level of restrictions as it applies to private dental practices in Victoria has been reduced to level 1. This level of restriction would allow us to to perform a wide range of dental treatments, including routine scaling and cleaning procedures. As it remains a time to be vigilant and not complacent, not all groups can be seen under this level ...of restriction. Please note that we will still be unable to see patients who fall into one of the following 3 categories: 1. Individuals who have been in close contact in 14 days prior to illness onset with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19 case. 2. Individuals who have a fever (>38 C)or history of fever (night sweats, chills) or acute respiratory symptoms including coughing, shortness of breath or having a sore throat. 3. Individuals who have returned from overseas in the past 14 days. We would like to thank our patient family for their support, understanding and patience through this unprecedented time but look forward to seeing you again very soon. We will be in contact with those on our contact list and will endeavour to see you as soon as we can. We will continue to maintain protocols that are consistent with higher levels of restriction until we are certain that life as we have known it to be, becomes normal again. #carnegiedentist #carnegie #dental #dentist #dentaloffice #dentalpractice

05.01.2022 Every year in Melbourne, Australians from all backgrounds show their solidarity and commitment to meaningful reconciliation with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples by walking with Michael Long to Melbourne’s iconic MCG (prior to the ’Dreamtime at the G’ AFL Game). By helping spread the word of the ‘virtual’ Long Walk you are helping us to fight racism and joining us to celebrate Australia’s First Nations peoples, the oldest living culture on Earth. #wewalktogether#thevirtuallongwalk
