20.01.2022 DANGEROUS TREE After you read this, you’ll be thinking twice about your own trees Remember to get them checked regularly!! Here are some photos of a tree I assessed late last year. Some of the observations were: significant decay, large cavities, canker wounds and subsequent cambial death in multiple locations. No aerial inspection was necessary due to the multitude of structural issues however I was intrigued about one particular cavity / canker wound in the main b...ranch union which wasn’t completely visible from the ground. The report recommended tree removal and using my report, the client made a council tree removal application which was quickly approved. For interest sake, I found out when the tree removal was taking place and met with contractors on the day to have a better look at the canker that I couldn't see properly on the ground. The damage was far worse than I thought. I've posted some photos on my website - definitely worth a look... https://www.progressivetrees.com.au/blog #arboristreport #projectarborist #aremytreessafe #arboristmelbourne #arboristreportfrankston #projectarboristfrankston

15.01.2022 A few photos of tree protection measures that I set up on a development site late last year. I have been engaged as the project arborist for the entire development to facilitate the requirements of my clients planning permit. Ill revisit the site regularly to maintain the fencing, signage and supervise any works within or near the tree protection zones to keep the trees safe and healthy.
