20.01.2022 A smoky start to spring and it is 6 weeks since rain. The Rainforest is dry underfoot. The spring Birds are back and many trees are flowering so all is not grim.

18.01.2022 Pictures from Saturday’s Bushcare at Spring Creek Mountain Cafe. It was great to see some of our earliest plantings towering over us! This inspired us to fill in a few gaps with new plants, and of course do a bit of weeding to help them thrive.

Killarney Bushcare invites you to the launch of our new book, "Eucalyptus of the Cambanoora Gorge". Compiled by botanist Frank Fox and supported by the Herbarium. The book is colourful and very informative and has been undertaken by us as a part of our care of the natural environment and community education. ... 16.01.2022 Event was held 1st and 2nd October at Adjinbilly with Harry Hines run by Killarney Bushcare. It was a very enjoyable learning experience. Just some of the highlights - viewing a Hastings river mouse, a pied micro bat , horse shoe bat, a cascade tree frog , mellomies, an Antichinus with babies in her pouch and Globe worms. Sorry I was too busy to take photos.

05.01.2022 Hi Friends Wonderful being home for the weekend. The bird chorus is so delightful after the noise of city traffic. However the noise of the frogs when near the dam may have reach the same decibels.
