17.01.2022 On a more personal note, today is #internationaldayofpeoplewithdisability, today I celebrated by working, something I've been told again and again I'll never be able to do full time or "have a real job in my condition". A big part of why I create art is to break stigmas, empower people and prove to the world I am capable of whatever I want to do. Today I was also proud to open my studio to children with disabilities and provide them a normalised Santa photo experience in a co...ntrolled environment without being over stimulated, this is something I'm offering every day this month and bookings can be made via my website. My disability isn't something I talk about a lot because previously whenever I've mentioned it, whoever I've mentioned it to would treat me different, like I'm fragile and sometimes even fear my condition, I've been fired over it, labelled a liability, "you don't look disabled", "she must be faking it" and had it made fun of, I want to challenge those perceptions and show the world I can do whatever anyone else can do but with better hair. #bossbabe #killinit #disabled #disabledboss
