21.01.2022 Stoking the fires - Pop Screen Tee There is nothing quite like a favourite T-shirt. This last T-shirt comp was fantastic - wall to wall - artists and designers - Pop Screen Tee was always designed to connect designers with their audience and therefore It's a pleasure to be surrounded constantly by real artists ... tell us if you need world class work - we know plenty of illustrators and designers that design for customers of ours - and then we print, in waterbased fashion fin...ish inks on shirts your crowd want to wear. Smells like Teen Spirit to me. This is the community of Arcade, Print Edition, Imprinter - Nobody leaves without a Tee.

20.01.2022 So many ways to say what you think of 2020 ... thinking forward ... https://imprinter.com.au/2020-comp

19.01.2022 Get into this ... we printed these T-shirts last year and were blown away by what these people do every year. This event itself is epic in it's scope and is a great place to give back ... especially unwanted basics. ... and services if you have something to do for some great people.

19.01.2022 AND BAM BAMMM! I was just thinking of this and it popped up in my timeline!!! That is nuts!! I didn't send it to you in my half asleep late night photo search did I?

18.01.2022 Australia opens it's borders to foreign invaders bringing beer. Also - side note - 5 colour screen print and singe colour multi panel prints in waterbased inks (Think real beer / real food ... can't really print this in plastic inks can we?) ... At Arcade we continuously think about the power of a commercial design in it's market place. So when a customer wants a cool shirt we think 'How cool can that be? - and what can we do that will set it apart?'... I was always inspired by the McDonalds advertising mantra - 'Be constantly in the public eye with an item of perceived value'. We take it that bit further as we want the end user to think the item is brilliant at the point of experience as opposed to the fast food TV commercial idea where sometimes the product you get in store is not quite what the ad shows. So our version is - 'Arcade, constantly in the public eye with something given the opportunity they would steal. Cheers,

16.01.2022 A response this morning to a new person possibly like yourself starting a new fashion label enquiring about our services at Arcade. Hey there Label creator, You sound like you need some inside information and a general place to base your base products from while you expand.... I'd suggest that you determine what your product needs and values are so we can better help you find those services you need. For instance - we are 100% waterbased inks as it eliminates any chance of allergic reactions on the skin being absolutely non toxic and it also has what we call the fashion finish where we also print dresses etc for fashion where they wont accept plastic inks. There is also a huge environmental factor here as we wont wash plastic inks down our waterways and generally don't want our own people being involved with those associated chemicals. That sounds like a lot - but that's what you will come across in fashion. To us this is paramount so this is our USP. It's up to you how much you align with that philosophy and what that level of quality in your product. We also can get labels / made / swapped / sewn or printed inside the garment. Promotional items that go with your brand like labels, swing tags and even point of sale posters etc are also very possible. The best ting to ask yourself out of the box is whether or not you are going to buy established garments from known suppliers and re-label or are you wanting to make your own. I suggest if you are an art based designer with a massive cause then your product will be art / content driven so buying existing garments and re-labelling is usually the way to start your label and then move into new product and custom product as you grow. My first suggestion with any new label is start with a T-shirt and really go deep on how you want to do it and fully produce that first item and that will show you many aspects of the transactions / skills needed / time allocation and many technical points to consider with a range moving forward. It also forces different parts of the process with sorting label information and such. So if you need to see some blank stocks and some print examples the best idea is to walk into our print shop here and we'll chat. As you need a bit of extra time aim for booking a time with us Tuesday - Thursday from 10am - 3.30pm preferred but otherwise tell us what you are thinking. Cheers, Steve Woods ARCADE 9550 6965 PS You can also jump on our website www.arcadescreenprinting.com.au and get our 5 minute print guide as a scope in document to help you start formulating capabilities and questions to ask us.

14.01.2022 The key to any great re-brand or communication IS in the design. Gun Graphic Designer for hire. We've printed multiple jobs from many different clients for Paul Shanta.... Need some?

12.01.2022 Glenno Smith is one of those players that has mastered the art of illustration and design for a living - and exceptionally so ... we've printed posters and T-shirts with him over the years - his usual attack on the senses is less serene than these pet portraits but it just shows radical diversity in subject matter he enjoys. It's all about the art - where's your art

12.01.2022 Very good ... the crappy childhood fairy!

10.01.2022 Hey all - we have a comp going around the idea of personal expression during this mad period we are in and what it means to you (Whatever that is) and expressing that to the world via the platform of T-shirt Design ... Sponsored by Arcade Screen Printing, Gildan Brands Australia, Permaset Aqua there are some good prizes and a chance to just win your first print run!

10.01.2022 Branding 101 (or 102 really) ... I remember when this went down - yep - I'm pretty old in comparison to much of the audience - but that gives me this weapon we call experience ... and with that comes either great insight or boring commentary ... you decide. When Michael Jackson moonwalked - RULE 1. What's your USP (Unique selling position / proposition) ... When Michael Jackson first moonwalked it was new. Not entirely new but new to the wider world. RULE 2. Who is your audience? So when it was launched he did it in front of the world. He created the audience or even more accurately put as he No.1 right - he stole the audience. RULE 3. Agitate. All his dance moves were fresh and awkward at the same time as perfectly in time - a mesmerising juxtaposition. RULE 4. Anchor. The whole act was anchored by the white glove. It was the second thing that was unusual but it was in a sea of experience where people went into overload but the white glove became the anchor for Michael Jacksons brilliance from that point on. RULE 5. Be sincere. Michael Jacksons persona was always one of outstanding talent that people found very hard to follow and his gracious understated comments. The power of this single performance is illustrated by the world calling him the 'King of Pop'. I study this stuff alot and I love people starting brands and T-shirt labels and businesses etc etc - I love enterprise - so I think - OK, so what if you planned a graphic / PR / marketing / product like Michael Jackson planned that performance - literally owning your own stage ... what if you said first. What impact do we want to make - then planned backwards from that.

09.01.2022 Brilliant! More of this.

07.01.2022 Handprinter !!!!!

05.01.2022 Thankyou. Epic day.

04.01.2022 Almost vintage ... and hardly breaking news but note this superbly illustrated 2 Colour print 'Slideshow' for Deb Art from years ago at Outpost Project Street Art Festival on Cockatoo Island, Sydney Harbour in 2011 - I just found it looking for a 2 colour print where we used 2 tones to get the third for free ... Anyway - here you go - I hope it translates well on FB. Look for the 30% pink as contrast to the 100% pink from the same screen and film and the second colour jet bla...ck. If you think you have a piece that you want to translate like this it's easy and you can realistically get 2 - 3 halftone shifts as well as teh 100% block. But also it can illustrate a photo well ... not 300dpi but 45dpi which is pretty good at 50cm away where a real T-shirt is admired from. Check teh detail in teh shots if you are any doubt as to details possible.

02.01.2022 T-shirts by Arcade ... and the giant 10 year banner for people to sign and be part of the day. Cold Cold morning down there - Big hearts.
