24.01.2022 This one of many wonderful restaurants here on Magnetic Island if you want to eat out!

23.01.2022 Florence Bay you are something else! The journey to this secluded spot is getting more challenging but we promise it’s worth the effort! We love the walk in fro...m Horseshoe leading past Balding and Radical Bays before stopping at Florence to enjoy a picnic and snorkel right off the shore amongst a range of corals, fish and black tip reef sharks. Continue the walk towards Arthur and the Forts junction or make the trip back to Horseshoe Bay for a gelato and sunset. Florence Bay is GOOD TO GO. Photo via @kendallbaggerly

18.01.2022 The favourite, Radical Bay. Hike in from Horseshoe Bay past Balding Bay or the Forts Junction past Arthur and Florence Bays and immerse yourself in one of the i...slands most picturesque coves where the palm trees line the sand and the water is as blue as it gets. Come make some memories and soak up the RADICAL vibes Photo via @karstanandmaxine Plan your great escape at www.thisismagneticisland.com.au #thisismagneticisland Please PLEASE look after our beaches, take your rubbish with you and leave only your footprints.

16.01.2022 We’re checking in with you from the deep blue (because sometimes you just NEED 3 animal posts in a row). Have you heard of the SS Yongala? It’s voted as 1 of ...the top 10 wreck dives in the world! Now an artificial reef, expect to be amazed by the huge schools of fish (and HUGE fish), eagle and marble rays, turtles , sharks , macro life and beautiful soft and hard corals. There’s a couple of dive companies based on the island who take regular trips to the wreck which practically makes the SS Yongala right on Maggie’s doorstep. @pleasurediversmi snapped this epic shot of a marble ray on a previous trip there! WOW

16.01.2022 Oh hey Arthur Bay! A definite favourite holiday spot on Maggie. Snorkel off the shore, picnic on the beach, or admire the stunning view from a handful of lookouts. Photo via @hayleyonholiday

16.01.2022 Ok we're done. It's one of the shortest hikes on the island and I've said it before (and I'll say it again) it will lead you to THE COOLEST LOOK OUT. Hawkings P...oint, put it on the list, on TOP of the list because you will be on TOP of the world once you get there. BEAUTIFUL Picnic Bay on a Winter morning, the water visibility around the island over th...e past week has been INSANE. Did you know you can stay just a 1 minute walk from the foreshore at Picnic Bay?! Our @tropicalpalmsmagneticisland and @cstay_magneticisland teams are located SUPER CLOSE, so you can check in and get exploring straight away. Picnic is also home to our @mammaromamagneticisland team, that's right you can eat delicious, authentic Italian cuisine while you're overlooking the heritage listed jetty and the stunning view across to @townsvillenorthqueensland. 03.01.2022 If you have ever spoken to me about hiking on Maggie I would have told you Hawkings Point is seriously underrated and my favourite hike on the island! Why I h...ear you ask? Well good people for 2 reasons, it’s short (who doesn’t have a spare half hour on island time), AND the view... INCREDIBLE! Believe me when I tell you the view in the opposite direction is just as good. Photo via @schmidtdogg_ Get planning those adventures www.thisismagneticisland.com.au #thisismagneticisland

03.01.2022 In all her muddy glory, the SS City of Adelaide rests off the Western side of the island and is a sight to behold. On our low tide days you can wander out for a...n up close look at the remains of the passenger steam ship and what has essentially become an artificial island off the coast of Maggie, home to a variety of plant and bird life (wear reef shoes and be careful). 01.01.2022 Guess what? The Forts walk is closed this week while the Forts Junction Hub upgrade gets into FULL swing BUT we've got PLENTY of underrated hikes along our 23k...m of Trail Network so we think you can find just the one for you! This spot can be found along the old Radical Bay Road, pack a picnic, some water and hit the trail!
