25.01.2022 It’s the Little things that make the difference for us and today’s install is a perfect example! 1 - indoor unit mounted 100 mm away from corner of the wall. Recent updated manufacturer warranty conditions specify that air conditioners must now be installed with this space for possible access to indoor pc board. 2 - outdoor unit mounted on condenser feet for easy hosing and cleaning underneath and behind the outdoor unit. ... 3 - Condensate drain ran to downpipe with air gap to avoid wet balconies but also to prevent flood back should the downpipe block. 4 - Sprayed with action clear coat corrosion spray on outdoor pc boards, motors, coil and panels to slow rust and corrosion. 5 - we understood that this system is considered a climbing point as it isn’t 1.5 m away from the balustrade, we’ve organised a custom rail to match the current balcony railings to run in front of the air conditioner. We are taking the precautions so you can sit back and enjoy the cool air!

24.01.2022 This customer had an LG unit from their previous property that we had removed, we returned and re-installed, as well as supplying a 2.0 kw carrier to fit into the study.

23.01.2022 Our first callout for the week happened this morning after the owner was left sweating for the weekend with his air conditioner showing a fault code. The fault? A high temperature alarm, caused by the back of the outdoor unit being blocked with dust, dog hair and other nasties. This common fault can be avoided with a simple service prior to the hotter temperatures we are expecting.

The first four pictures below are before shots of a blocked condenser and the subsequent high temperatures that occur when either coil is restricted. The last four are after the clean and service. More air passing through the outdoor coil results in cooler temperatures inside, both the supply and room temp dropped instantly!

11.01.2022 This is a picture of an evaporator coil, this sits behind the outer casing and return air filters of a split system air conditioner. Air from your room circulates through this coil before being distributed by the supply fan. We have just finished cleaning the left side, the right side is still holding dirt, mould and grime. Cleaning your filters is good but it doesn’t necessarily mean your air conditioner is sanitary.

11.01.2022 We were back in Surfers Paradise today to replace some Air conditioners that had suffered major damage from the salt in the air. The owners have gone for quality with these Mitsubishi electric systems and also chose to protect the pc boards,coils and panels with action clear rust protection spray. Now all that’s left to do is sit back and enjoy the cool air .

10.01.2022 It feels like summer arrived today on the Gold Coast! . We upgraded for a customer in oxenford after their 8kw system lost its refrigerant through old age. The original install saw the living room air conditioner severely oversized and given the task to cool not just the living area but the 2 bedrooms. The problem being at night, when only needing cool air in the main bedroom, the customer was having to pay top dollar to cool the other spaces that weren’t being used. ... We correctly sized and installed a 5 kw system in the living area and and a 2.5 kw system in the bedroom. Happy days and cool nights for this customer! Inspected, quoted and installed within 48 hours!
