Please see our new Wellness timetable below: Note: new guidelines for our Wellness Program are as follows The list will be open from 11am onwards for sign in.... You may only put your own name on the list. You will need to have a temperature check/health screen. After you’ve signed in and have had your health screen, you are not to leave the area prior to going into the pool. 21.01.2022 On Friday July 24th, 2020 NSW Health issued a COVID-19 Infection and Prevention Amber Alert Moderate Transmission advice for NSW public health services. Currently, it is not a requirement for private health facilities to implement the escalation framework. A risk assessment of Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospital has been conducted and we will not be making any further changes to our current restrictions. 20.01.2022 Last Saturday our patient Victor Nagle celebrated his 103rd birthday with us! Mr Nagle is a World War II veteran having served as a Gunner in the RAF. After completing his missions he was given a further posting where he was responsible for training other gunners. Happy 103rd Birthday Victor from everyone at Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospital!

The day acknowledges the compassion, professionalism and round-the-clock commitment of nurses caring for patients.... Today, we celebrate the wonderful work our nurses do daily whilst raising awareness of the important role nurses play in our society. 19.01.2022 Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information for Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospital Patients and Visitors The safety of our patients, visitors and staff is our highest priority and we are closely monitoring and responding to COVID-19 developments whilst following the guidelines and advice of NSW Health, the Australian Government and Department of Health. Information for visitors. Please do not visit Arcadia if: You are unwell in any way; You have travelled overseas in the last 14 day...s; You have been in close contact with someone who has travelled overseas in the past 14 days; You have been in close contact with someone with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19. We encourage you to phone your loved one via the hospital switchboard or direct room number instead 8919 3100. Visiting hours are strictly limited to: Monday to Friday 8am 8pm Saturday 9am 4pm Sunday 9am 4pm All visitors must report to reception each visit to show identification, be verbally screened by staff and have their temperature checked. We have a two-visitor-only arrangement in place, consistent with the Northern Sydney Local Health District Guidelines. Please discuss this with your loved one prior to visiting. Additionally, no children can visit the facility. Please note these guidelines may change at any time. Thank you for your cooperation.

18.01.2022 UPDATE - Visitor Temperature Screening As of Wednesday 25th March all visitors are now required to have their temperatures checked, in addition to being verbally screened by our reception staff. Any visitor that presents with a temperature of 37.5 degrees and above will not be permitted to enter the hospital and will be asked to leave. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to remain vigilant updating initiatives as needed to manage this evolving situation and ensure the health of our patients, visitors, and our staff is not compromised.



16.01.2022 It’s a girl! Last Monday, 6 April at 11:45am Arcadia’s former Acting Hospital Director Amanda gave birth to a beautiful baby girl weighing 3.5kg. The whole family is doing well. CONGRATULATIONS to Amanda and her family from everyone at Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospital!

15.01.2022 World Health Day 7 April 2020 is the day to celebrate the work of nurses, midwives and other health workers whilst reminding world leaders of the critical role they play keeping the world healthy. Nurses and other health workers are at the forefront of the COVID-19 response. They provide high quality, respectful treatment and care, leading community dialogue to address fears and questions and, in some instances, collecting data for clinical studies. This year the World Healt...h Organization (WHO) is highlighting the current status of nursing around the world and will be making a series of recommendations to strengthen the nursing and midwifery workforce. Show your support this World Health Day to ensure that the nursing, midwifery and other health workforces are strong enough to make sure that everyone, everywhere gets the healthcare they need. 15.01.2022 UPDATE Visitor Policy Changes From Tuesday the 3rd November, each patient will be allowed two visitors per day for the duration of their stay. Visitors must report to Reception on arrival to sign in, be COVID screened and gain access to the wards. Unfortunately, there is no extra visiting permitted on Level 2. Visitors are requested to bring and wear their own mask for the duration of the visit. Social distancing of 1.5m between all persons is still required. No children (1...6 years and under) are permitted in Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospital. These restrictions apply to the café area in addition to the wards. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to remain vigilant updating initiatives as needed to manage the evolving situation caused by COVID 19 ensuring the health of our patients, visitors, and our staff is not compromised.

13.01.2022 Happy 3rd Birthday to Arcadia Pittwater Last Saturday February 6 marked Arcadia Pittwater's 3rd Birthday and what an amazing three years it has been! Since opening in 2018 we have treated more than two thousand inpatients and over 870 patients have attended our day rehabilitation! We have continued to grow beyond our expectations with 15 specialist doctors (including visiting specialists and onsite medical officers) and over 215 employees. We would like to thank our staff, ...advocates and patients who help us deliver our rehabilitation, medical, geriatric and palliative care services; along with our day rehabilitation and wellness programs. We are proud to have helped all our patients in their recovery and endeavour to provide a level of care that is unmatched. 07.01.2022 Updated Visiting Hours at Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospital As we continue to adapt our business operations in response to COVID-19 we have updated our visiting hours. The aim is to reduce the risk of spreading the virus which may be increased by hospital visits of a high volume of people, each of whom may have had multiple social contacts, which may have led to infection. Our decision is a proactive precautionary response to the unprecedented and evolving situation in the c...ommunity caused by the coronavirus (COVID 19). As of Friday 20th March Visiting Hours at Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospital are now: Monday to Friday 8am 8pm Saturday 9am 5pm Sunday 9am 4pm Patients are permitted 2 visitors at a time. No children are permitted in Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospital and this includes the café. Please report to Reception for screening prior to going to the Wards. Whilst we have no identified cases of COVID-19, we believe this is a proactive and measured response meeting our responsibility to reduce risk to our patients, doctors and staff.

From Monday 27th April surgical hospitals will be resuming elective surgery in line with the Prime Minister's announcement earlier this week (21st April 2020). A recent graduate from our Cardiac Program she had attended all gym, hydrotherapy, cardiac education sessions and achieved all her smart goals!
