04.01.2022 I am coming to the end of my career as I know it. Illness has forced me to stop and take care of myself. As some who has always been career focussed this is a frightening concept. All the 'ego' driven questions are coming up - "What have I achieved ?", "What am I good for now?", "Am I just worthless?" My ego is reacting to the change, to stepping out of my comfort zone, to throwing out the 5 and 10yr plans, to facing the unknown. Am I afraid? Absolutely!
