19.01.2022 At Arcare Reservoir, love is in the air as we celebrate Beryl and Jo's 60th Wedding Anniversary. No matter what kind of love you are celebrating today, Jo has a couple of tips for a long and happy life, "There is no one magic formula, try to love each other more and more daily. Always respect each other and help each other through tough times." He also had a message for the Arcare Reservoir team, "Thank you for your care and helping us celebrate this special day. 17.01.2022 The Church family are a familiar sight in our Arcare North Shore community Especially during the Christmas season as they prepare gifts of love for one special resident in our community - Patricia. Patricia’s family lives in Canada, so six-year-old Xavier and four-year-old Ella made it a point to show her some extra love this Christmas The children created artworks from their favourite books and even made the gift wrap for the present. Inside their present to Patricia ...was a handstitched Christmas tree, a book about animal hugs and some lovely hand towels. From all of us at Arcare North Shore, we want to thank the Church family for their thoughtfulness and kindness during this season of giving Read more about Life at Arcare North Shore here: https://loom.ly/cpxBNIc

08.01.2022 Thursday 18 December marked a special day at our Arcare Oatlands Community. Bishop Vincent Long Van Nguyen from Saint Patrick's Cathedral Parramatta conducted a beautiful Christmas Mass at the residence. This was the first time in numerous months that our residents could gather for a sacred Mass. The Arcare Oatlands residents were overjoyed and could not contain their excitement with their glowing smiles singing with Joy to the World and Silent Night enthusiastically . Having an individual blessing from the Bishop and then Communion was truly something special. Bishop Vincent Long commented that during the service it was a blessing that no residents fell asleep! As a community we are hopeful we can continue hosting masses within our Arcare Community.

08.01.2022 "I have two mums who I care for at Arcare Burnside," says veteran volunteer, Marta. "I love them [the residents] so much, they really are like family. I first began coming here to see my mum, and then I made more connections. We love to dance, laugh, enjoy life. Why wouldn't I keep coming back each day?" The love continues on at Arcare this week, celebrating the many relationships and connections that exist within our community. #volunteers #community #burnside #arcareagedcare #livelife #longevity #caregivers

01.01.2022 Tis' the season of giving! Resident Necia at Arcare Pimpama donated her beautiful knitted teddies to community group STEPS 4208, as part of their Christmas appeal. I enjoy crocheting and knitting in my spare time. And I’m happy to knit these bears for others, Necia said. While Sue, Penny, Gavin and Beverly from STEPS 4208 brought along gift baskets of their own, including ones gifted from Michael Crandon MP .... STEPS 4208 aim to raise awareness for mental health among the community by bringing people together. Necia’s teddies are a personal gift made with care and love and it’s wonderful for her to share that with us and others, Sue shared. We will be donating them to the Children’s Ward at Gold Coast University Hospital - GCUH for those who cannot make it home for Christmas. What a wonderful initiative for us to be a part of
