18.01.2022 Our wonderful resident Vic Cristofani at Arcare Glenhaven Community is very well known in The Australian Cricket Society. Identified as a legend at the Australian National University Cricket Club, Vic was President between 1993-2003, Club Coach, life member and ultimate cricket player. Presented with an award from Sir Donald Bradman, Vic is an inspiration to all Australian cricket players. Vic’s skills as a batsman and leg spinner bowler saw him play 20 seasons of first grade cricket for St George. During his career, his teammates were heard to say that they had never played with a better man and that Vic is tremendous. Vic was married to the love of his life beautiful Betty for 56 years. Betty supported him throughout his cricket career.

Alysha and the Arcare Seven Hills team have been busy welcoming new residents and their loved ones to the Arcare community after opening in August 2020. Alysha shared "I personally welcome all residents and ensure that they are settled in their rooms that day. I recently had a resident thank me for making the effort, handwriting the welcome card and adding the Arcare touch to their room. It...'s the small things that make a big difference."
