14.01.2022 Pool restrictions: With the reopening of The ARC today, we would like to clarify restrictions regarding the pool area. Only lap and rehabilitation swimming are allowed under the current directions. This means that all swimmers, regardless of age, must be independently swimming laps or following a rehab program. For this reason Learn to Swim lessons will not return until further restrictions are lifted. When applying the current directions to children, if your child can swim ...continuous laps or has a rehab program to follow they are more than welcome to visit. If your child cannot swim continuous laps comfortably or independently, please wait until further restrictions are lifted before bringing them to The ARC. Spectators are allowed only when necessary for caretaking or supervision purposes. Unfortunately we cannot allow anyone into the pool who is not using the facility for lap or rehab reasons. This also applies to any children under 5 years old, as Watch Around Water rules cannot be met under these restrictions. The nature of these directions is strict on pool usage and we do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope to be able to welcome leisure usage back as soon as possible. See more
