24.01.2022 Safety standards have changed. Especially laws surrounding Smoke Alarms. If you have any doubt on whether your Smoke Alarms comply then please give Anthony a call on 0447 244 221
22.01.2022 Amanda has been very busy campaigning to help out Deb from SpillDEBeans cafe to stop Noosa Council from closing the back gate in which will stop people with dogs accessing the cafe. As business owners we should support and help local businesses to lift red tape that is unfairly enforced upon them! If you get a chance please sign the petition: http://chng.it/LJFkZMb2kd
22.01.2022 In February 2017, 24 year old carpenter, Luke Bray, was electrocuted while working in the roof of a house in Carlton, NSW. Mr Bray came into contact with illeg...al wiring which authorities believe may be linked to previous unlicensed electrical work that was performed in the home. This is a timely reminder for everyone to always check that any electrical contractor you are considering for work at your home include their licence number in their adverts, and confirm their licence is current using our online licence search at https://fswqap.worksafe.qld.gov.au/elis/ See more
22.01.2022 Join us tonight at 6pm at The Pomona Rotunda as we pay tribute to the Diggers who fought in WWI and to celebrate 100 years since Armistice Day. This ceremony will be particularly symbolic to Anthony and I as we have volunteered our time and resources to help bring The Pomona Rotunda War Memorial back to its former state, with the switching on of the light happening tonight. While we completed the Electrical work and the maintenance of the copper light fitting, many other Lo...cal businesses and community organisations have contributed to this great project. Many hands make lights work! The Rotunda in Reserve Street, was designed by a Brisbane architect, who won a competition with his design and honours the service of local men in WWI. The light feature on top of the structure is believed to symbolise the broken hearts mourning those who died in the war. The Rotunda was opened in 1939. The light has not been functional for many many years and it will be a great moment in our community to see it shining again to always remember and pay tribute to those who served our country. Amanda x

15.01.2022 Pomona is where it is at! We love being a part of the Pomona community!
13.01.2022 The Pomona Rotunda War Memorial - Turning On The Light Well we are happy to say that the light worked! We even heard people saying is that a real flame in there?! Due to the age of this light fitting, the journey of fixing this light certainly wasn’t an easy task and we called on two organisations to help us bring this very old light to a modern day fixture. The Men's Shed Pomona was instrumental in their lathe and turning work to ensure the new cables rod could be anchore...d into to the Rotunda and old copper light fitting, The Light House Noosa sourced the very realistic flaming LED light bulb and also helped with sourcing the rare and unusual parts that were needed to get this special light up shining again. We really loved being apart of this community project and it was really great to meet the other businesses, local organisations and individuals who restored The Pomona War Memorial Rotunda.
13.01.2022 Noosa Hinterland - Support Local Business First These are incredibly tough times and we are all very concerned about the health of everyone in our community du...ring the Coronavirus outbreak. On top of the health risk, this outbreak will see many local businesses close their doors for good, people will lose their jobs and it will have a knock-on effect on every single industry. We must support local businesses during these hard times. Supporting our community is vital to ensure that we all pull through this together. By supporting local business we know that the money we spend will stay in our community and will be spent at our hairdressers, pharmacies, tradesmen, cafes, massage therapists, physiotherapists, grocery stores and so on. Please share. Take care x

06.01.2022 This is some advice that is worth listening to. We come across quite a fair few earth leakage (safety switch) devices that just don’t work as well as they should or not at all. Functioning protection devices are super important to ensure that you and your family are safe. Please check out the link and take the time to check if your safety switches are working properly.
02.01.2022 That’s a wrap! Officially finished up for the year, Anthony and the team are incredibly humbled to have so many great customers, new and return, who have continued to support our local small business. This year we have had three new team members start with us. Darrian, our full time tradie, Ben our first year apprentice, and Pete, our casual tradie. None possible without your support! We close this year, as the year we do not speak of. It has been incredibly hard on a lot of... people, but we continue to provide reliable, quality service and strive for great customer satisfaction, no matter the job. We are truely grateful. Merry Christmas and Happy new year from all of us at ARC Electrical Maintenance
