20.01.2022 Day 2 of our Kings Square Historical archaeology excavations continue after 139 mm of rain yesterday. Our first trench has located foundations most likely from ...the 1920s Centennial Hall but more excavation will help us identify what building it is. We have also found a large number of Clydesdale and Shire horseshoes, too many to just be loose finds and may represent a farrier operating here at some time. Lots of workshops and free talks are on this week. Volunteer excavators are welcome too. #KSFreo #KSHistory https://mysay.fremantle.wa.gov.au/kings-square-dig
