The Ecumenical Orthodox-Catholic Church Global Teaching and stand is clear: We firmly believe Biblically that any act of homosexuality is sin and evil. We do not allow nor accept "same-sex marriages" at whatever level, form or manner. Logically, the term in itself connotes a negation of the deeper meaning and the theology of "marriage." There is no such a thing as "marriage or union" between human beings of the same sex. It is a lie and a total deception. It is the devil’s attack on the core of human society-The Family! No life ensues from such acts. As a church we don't bend nor succumb to whatever is "politically or legally correct." We don't accept ordination of anyone actively involved or engaged in homosexual (gay) activities. We shall not participate nor promote any such or similar activities. But call and invite such persons to repentance. Our church defends and promotes the family. We firmly uphold in our belief and faith that Marriage is between a mature biologically born male and female persons who join each other in marriage in free will, choice and consent. This is the ORTHODOX FAITH! This is the REVEALED TRUTH as handed to us through the Apostolic Fathers.
