25.01.2022 Time to help others in Rockhampton!! The Meals on Wheels team really needs some help - do you have spare time? Meals on Wheels information: We delivery fresh meals daily to frail and disabled clients in our community and are sometimes the only contact they have during their day. Kitchen volunteers are required from 6.00am to 11.00am and assist in the preparation of meals, serving meals into containers and packing of the eskies for delivery or if volunteers prefer to assist with the delivery of the meals Delivery Volunteers are required from 10.30/10.45am through to 12.30/1.00pm. If anyone is interested in assisting they can contact the office on 4928 0540. Flyer attached.



24.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone! Archer Park Rail Museum here! Are you coming to Rockhampton for the school holidays, which begin on Monday! Whilst you're in Rockhampton, why don't you visit Archer Park Rail Museum! We are open from 10am to 3pm, Monday to Thursday & on Sundays from 9am to 1pm. As a part of the school holiday activities at APRM, the tram will be on running on Wednesday from 10am to 1pm. Prices start at $5.50 for all, with carers and those under the age of 3 free! There will be colouring pages for the youngsters and questionaries for the teens! We are located at 51-87 Denison Street (between Archer & Cambridge Streets), Rockhampton!

21.01.2022 On June 5, 1909; the first tram trip took place. The tram went up to the Botanical Garden (entrance is located in Spencer Street, The Range), following the official opening in William Street. The trip took 8 minutes!

Starting Thursday, 10 December 2020 until Monday, 25 January 2021, prices for each person is $5.50 (with carers and those under 3 free). However, we will be closed from Monday, 21 December 2020 to Saturday, 02 January 2021 for the Christmas/New Year Break.

13.01.2022 On 24 June 1939 at 11pm, the last tram operated to head back to the Canning Street Depot. During the 30 years of operation, 40514932 passengers were carried and the trams travelled 4526932 miles!

02.01.2022 The following photographs are of the Mount Morgan Razorback Railway. This rail line ran from 1898 until 1952. The rack railway ran between the stations of Moogan (top of the line) to Moomera (bottom of the line) on the Kabra to Mount Morgan line.
