21.01.2022 Review of the new PSE Xpedite NXT from Steven Hann from Archery Supplies. I’ve been shooting the original Xpedite for a while now. By far my favourite bow. As m...entioned in the video I use it for everything. Long stabilisers for target and short stabilisers for hunting. I chose a 60lb bow for a one bow to do everything and to be target archery legal. Unfortunately I didn’t get to shoot any marked field rounds this year. While a 5 1/2 brace height bow may not suit everyone combine that with a 33 ATA and my draw length, I have a bow that fits me well. It is the only bow I ever had where the first time I drew it back I came to anchor and the string gently touched my nose and my head was straight. I’ve never had much luck myself with longer ATA bows. While I can and have shot great scores on longer ATA bows I was also prone to shooting really bad scores. I am shooting 375grain arrows at 26.5 draw at close to 290fps and 475grain arrow at a little over 260fps. Faster than any 70lb bow I’ve owned with them same arrow weights. Being able to draw 10lb less while hunting has been a blessing as there has been times where I get to the top of a hill and there would be no way I would be able to accurately draw any of my previous 70lb bows. In saying that I do want to look at buying a 70 or even 80lb Xpedite next year, as a dedicated heavy hitting hunting bow and keep the 60lb for target, field, 3D and light hunting. I do also think the NXT33 will suit a lot of archers as is mentioned in the video and the extra 1.5 of brace and less speed for those with longer draw is a good bow.
