07.01.2022 Other pages from the photoshoot! Reposts from Molly Hanna Makeup Artist and Wicked Tales... A few weeks ago, Wicked Tales came together with a few local business to do a photoshoot for a magazine called Gothesque Magazine. This is what we came up with. Model : Alexis Kennedy - Model Modelling Agency : Elite Avenue Director : Molly Hanna Makeup Artist Earrings : Lena Rose Designs Location : Arches Estate The Elysian Plane was chosen in direct reference to the base word ‘Elysium’, which means ‘A place of perfect happiness’. The title was also chosen for its Greek origin, which is what inspired the project. Elements from Greek Mythology were incorporated into the styling of the photoshoot, from the flowy dress to the Greek braid. Baby’s Breath flowers were woven into the hair along with the delicate rings to bring a soft yet elegant beauty to the model, and to frame the model’s face delicately. The makeup was kept quite simple as the focus point was the model’s hair and the ethereal regality of the model. The location, Arches Estate in Yeppoon, QLD, was chosen to be the location mainly for its iconic arches inspired by the Spanish Villas. The location is currently abandoned, however the amazing owners are fixing it up to be a stunning wedding destination. The romantic elements inspired all of us. The feeling of being on top of the world and separated from t he rest of humanity was solidified by the location of the estate, which was on top of a hill overlooking the picturesque ocean to one side, and beautiful forests to the other. The photoshoot was shot roughly 3.30/4pm to sunset at the Arches Estate only using natural lighting and the use of a reflector. It was shot using a Nikon D810 with a 35mm lenses. Wicked Tales embraced the golden lighting and the location to make the photos appear godlike and out of this world. @ Arches Estate
