20.01.2022 This project is an excellent example of maximising the investment of a potential site through creativity This site is large but under-utilised. It hosts an outdated three bedroom, one bath home A knockdown and rebuild has been proposed. The new building would consist of two modern, luxuriously sized semi-detached three bed & three-bath units. Each unit would include a single garage, entrance hall, open plan kitchen and dining, dedicated laundry, a pool, and a large study.... Both units would open up to garden courtyards, bringing in natural light and ventilation Based on real estate agents' estimations, the client could sell one unit and cover the entire project's cost with money to spare, essentially building themselves a brand-new custom home for free. The brief for this home was a complete redesign of the existing two-story house A grand dining area and larger kitchen will open up to the outdoor entertainment space and new pool Below the house, there will feature a double garage, home gym, guest suite, laundry, wine cellar and hidden ‘man cave’ with submerged windows looking into the pool! The upstairs area is also getting a makeover with the addition of a bedroom, master bedroom, WIR, ensuite and TV room.
